Thank you for the detailed review. I have same model and when I travelled for about 600KM from Pune to Kolhapur and back with some city driving and ghats included. Odo was showing me till 19 KMPL. I did tank full to full and it came out to around 17 kmpl actual. But this was under 1000 km reading and I was doing around 70 to 90 speed so 6th gear was hardly engaging. So 18+ is easily achievable on highways with 100 kmph speed :-)

Guys i love this vehicle my XUV 700 AX7L diesel variant has been giving me 11-12kmpl on highway as i was driving in zoom mode... can you share some tips on improving mileage apart from driving in zip mode like speed and rpm limits to consider for better milage
Obviously at heavy load suspension gets more bumpy and an increased body-roll. If all this criteria are placed on the rival, I am 110% sure, they will have more in bumpy and body-roll.

I think all reviewers should specify about the rpm at which the car does 100 in highest gear. That tells a lot about the engine. And tell you about how comfortably u can cruise on highways.

Not just bunny, others spoke the same. May be the video u saw had the reviewer talking about it from single driver point of view. Remember, a vehicle will behave very differently with 1 and 6 people on board. We had 6 :-)

Lot guys do mistake as not wait 30 minutes to full tank second time hence fake millage . Once maruti car gave 30kmpl then he wait 30 minutes & again full tank. Second time should wait 30 minutes then full tank otherwise millage comes very high
Yes but only a few Indian Youngster can drive 90 km\hr in a highway , all chapri drivers wont FYI CHAPRI ALSO MEANS BADE BAAP KE LUCHAAR LAFANGA LARKA. and complain Mahindra why cant we get better mileage. 0 education :)
