Usually proposing at someone else’s wedding is tacky, but because they had the permission and even assistance of the bride this time is not only acceptable but very sweet

I've read many stories in which false friends pull bullshit crap at someone's wedding, like announcing an engagement or a pregnancy, specifically to steal attention away from the bride. This is an outstanding example of a pair of REAL friends that support each other. I wish I knew these women personally. I'll bet they are wonderful people. a couple years ago i went on a hike with my family to this beautiful lake in the woods surrounded by colorful mountains. Having a real friend does not always mean that they let you get proposed to at what’s supposed to be a really important moment of your life you would probably remember for the longest time which is supposed to be about you and your groom. I guess if the bride and the groom were fine with it, not that bad, but just because your best friend doesn’t want to do that with you doesn’t mean the friendship isn’t as true as it is.

My brothers (now) wife was diagnosed with a brain tumor the doctors later found out she had brain cancer. We were all sad she was so cool and nice she had to re learn how to walk and even eat. The doctors said she only had a few years in her left to live so my brother said screw it he asked all of his family if he should prepose to her and we all said yes (including me) so we had the wedding it was very emotional for everybody she was in a white sparkly dress but sadly in a wheelchair the wedding ended so my brother is now a married man. Just please enjoy life it goes by fast and when you don’t have much time left make the most out of it God bless you all.

I've read many stories in which false friends pull bullshit crap at someone's wedding, like announcing an engagement or a pregnancy, specifically to steal attention away from the bride. This is an outstanding example of a pair of REAL friends that support each other. I wish I knew these women personally. I'll bet they are wonderful people. Their respective husbands are the luckiest guys ever. Aside from me, of course. My wife is an absolute gem of a woman.

a couple years ago i went on a hike with my family to this beautiful lake in the woods surrounded by colorful mountains. A couple passed us on the trail holding hands and my mom said, “wow they look like a happy couple.” me and brother went ahead and passed them again, to reach a spot on the beach that had a engagement proposal set up, and i quickly told my brother to get out of there. a few minutes later the couple came and the proposal happened and all their family popped out of the woods and everyone in the beach clapped. on the way back down we ran into the group and my mom told them how funny it was that she happened to say that. i still think about that a lot

I understand people wanting this to be a special day for themselves, but I'd honestly rather have it be something greater, like this. My brothers (now) wife was diagnosed with a brain tumor the doctors later found out she had brain cancer. We were all sad she was so cool and nice she had to re learn how to walk and even eat. The doctors said she only had a few years in her left to live so my brother said screw it he asked all of his family if he should prepose to her and we all said yes (including me) so we had the wedding it was very emotional for everybody she was in a white sparkly dress but sadly in a wheelchair the wedding ended so my brother is now a married man. Just please enjoy life it goes by fast and when you don’t have much time left make the most out of it God bless you all.
