The plane appeared to have been completely unaware. First impression, the helicopter was at fault for not taking evasive measures. But, there’s speculation that the plane the helicopter said they had in sight, was not the same plane the controller was referring to avoid. Should be easy enough to retrace what plane the helicopter had sighted.

There are thousands of well qualified ATC applicants that were turned down because of "hiring qualifications". I want the best ATC applicants to make sure the sky is safe. Who cares what they look like!

VTOL, flying cars, and Drones -are an idea. Which are finally put to rest with this accident. This is a confirmation that airspace over large urban USA areas are saturated and cannot accept further air traffic of any kind. Those minor lobby groups who suffer delusions of flying VTOL class drones in such space in the near future without a federal low airspace new control systems costing the USA taxpayer 235 billion dollars need to see a doctor.. Flying cars won't happen over land in any form in the states or western nations. Unregulated airspace in the Southern Ocean or pacific may still be another question for national security or rescue missions is always been discussed.
I wonder if the TCAS (traffic collision avoidance system) was operational on the CRJ. They said it was at 3000ft. It should have been screaming at the crew.

They will need to collect all the pieces of the fuselage from both aircraft to put it back together; standard operating procedures after a plane crashes!! Poor passengers/crew and military personnel died horrific deaths!! At the point of impact both exploded into a huge fireball…just imagine if you were one of them!! 🥵😱😭
When you’re landing planes on runway 1 and you ask American Airlines they can land on runway 32 you should make sure there’s no other aircraft in that area because that put American airlines on a direct path into the helicopter
