- Two of our triplets, Derrick and Nicholas, get ready to ride the "big yellow school bus" to their Pre-K school in the morning in Part One and they are shown getting off the bus at lunchtime in Part Two. Both parts are incorporated into one video. Kaitlyn didn't qualify for the special Pre-K school (she's too smart! Go figure! LOL*) so she stayed home with mommy, big sister Brittany and family friend "Miss Vicki". Hope everyone enjoys watching this and remembering the first time their little ones rode the big yellow school bus! *smiles

Which Pre-K age
3 or 4?
Am I the only one focusing on that pipes on the mustang that rode by? lol. I'm a Mustang girl :) I also love the sister's enthusiasm when the boys returned home.

That was my neighbor's son who at the time was in college but bought Mustangs, fixed them up, then re-sold them. He's in his early/mid 30's now and does the same for Corvettes.
dam these kids got it good. my first day on the bus was Pre-K too and my mom was just like go over there and get on the fucking bus!
Haha, I was expecting to have to coax the boys into getting on the bus too!! 😄
The boys go to a special Pre-K program for developmentally delayed kids (they have speech delay and the state of FL offers a free pre-k program to kids who have delays to help them "catch up" so they can mainstream into regular kindergarten at age 5). Kaitlyn is actually developmentally advanced (by a few months according to the tests) so she didn't qualify to go. :-( But we're looking into a pre-k program for her for the Fall 2007.

this is a nice video the first bus is International F65 Thomas Built buses that picks them up and the afternoon The International 3800 Carpenter wheelchair school bus brings 2 boys home i like it nice one

Their school district lets Pre-K kids ride the bus? I don't remember riding the bus till Kindergarten, and I only ever lived @ 1 address when I was a kid.
Leanne Strong the Big bus should only be K-12 the preschool should be a mini type A school bus

well thats when I lived in GA, As I live in Okaloosa as well, Pre-K rides handi buses
Sorry so late with an explanation. The school district used the bigger busses for a little while because there were so many kids going to PreK-D at the time and there was only one bus for all ~18 kids. They did start using the short bus after a few weeks when another elementary school in the district/area started having a PreK-D class and half the kids went there.

ahh thats tight they play music on this bus. Our bus driver's speakers broke on her bus so we was allowed to have MP3's and stuff. My bus driver was cool. Had her from Pre-K to 10th grade. Now im driving.

@k8tina That's really neat to hear! And thank you. Florida State was a school I wanted to attend but ended up staying home in Georgia for college. Crazy how time has flown since this comment! Best of luck to your son at FSU!

Because she was on-target with her development and did not have any developmental delays like her brothers. As an aside, she went to regular Pre-K during that time 😉
