Every new system should launch parallel to character creation software and at least one pre-written adventure. Universal systems are my jam though, so I'll be watching for more info.
My vote(s) would be for: - WEG Ghostbusters d6 - (and naturally) Star Wars d6 (Obviously you'd have to omit mention of the licensed properties) - (Tom Moldvay's) Lords of Creation by Avalon Hill - Mutant Future/Gamma World (or anything I could use for a Fallout/post-apocalytptic setting - Indiana Jones (original or Masterbook) - Tales from the Crypt - TORG - Buck Rogers - DC Heroes (Mayfair) or Marvel (I'd settle for a Champions/Hero conversion that eliminates the clunky math and character design) - Spycraft or d20 Modern - Warhammer Fantasy (If you do at least one of these, I'll make the happy sort of squealing sound you might hear in a Ren & Stimpy episode.)
@@artofthegenre6087 Thanks. I think LoC was a cool idea. It had some design flaws, but it mostly floundered due to lack of support and poor understanding of what it was. If it was crowdfunded and tweaked in this era, it might have a big following. I wasn't thrilled by the newer incarnation of TORG. I loved the original setting books though. I had all of the novels too. I have good memories of the Restless Dead adventure book from WHF.
I just completed Folio #29 campaign, and am trying to finish up my FAST Core RPG for November release, and then will likely do another hardcover before years end.
Great advice, as always, Scott! 👍🏽 Love the conversion concept!

There are 8 adventures with this one
@@artofthegenre6087 Cool!
I suggest Tales from the Floating Vagabond. :)
I'm going to have to look that one up :)
A cyberpunk game, Cyberpunk, Shadow Run, or for a real challenge Kromosone.

I just found my Lords of Creation character last week! TORG might be a blast, I'm half way through Warhammer Fantasy right now. Great picks!

Earthdawn and (no chance bit it’s just too delightfully weird) Skyrealms of Jorune
I like the Mongoose Traveller System. Not sure how you go from a skill based system Traveller to AD&D using one system.
We just started Travaller Moongoose. Our group can manage. Though we are not 5e players. We do 1e pathfinder and Call of Cuthulu
Please Fast Shadowrun! That setting is so great, but the system is so clunky.
whats going on Scott...whats the next project up?

@@artofthegenre6087 great to hear!!!
Star Wars saga
Beyond the supernatural
Are a couple I would like to play more of
Beyond the Supernatural is an awesome suggestion! Haven't played that in YEARS!
Beyond the Supernatural! Great setting for a lousy system. Plus RIFTS left a dark stain on it.
So if we get angry with the system, will it be....Fast and Furious? ;)
