It would be awesome to have a small overgrown disused train track spur towards the end of the countryside area representing an old wild west mining town with just that engine shed you are currently using and that other wild west set you had a while ago as all that's left of it, maybe with a small mine entrance in the mountain that's been boarded up. Just some old abandoned history in the woods left to rot....
It's amazing how useful previously considered "useless" parts could become. I recently discovered that I could use up my various colored 1x6 and 1x8 arches in various colors for filler brick. I had no idea for those arches before, at least in the bright colors.
Hey Jordan! It feels good to see less empty spaces on the table!🙂 Have a great trip in the house of the brick,be careful to what you are filming while there!!😉✌🏼 Can’t wait for your return !😂😁
Hi Bricksie. A really great start to getting the table covered, and the first lot of the huge delivery used. It's so impressive seeing the white spaces being covered up, and the plsns for the City. Sooo glad you are going to Denmark again! Hope you get lots of inspiration and ideas, and have loads of fun.
Your creeks coming down off the mountains look cool. Make sure as they come together they get wider. Also, the creeks look like a loop, as you were explaining them, they don’t go anywhere. Won’t look “realistic” if they don’t go anywhere. Thanks for posting these videos. I love watching them daily. Enjoy your trip to the home country.
adding to the thought above: the creek being fed from two mountain sources with no place to go... Perhaps the creek could come together then waterfall over the edge of the table. Like trying to escape the layout.
I would love to see a canyon in the middle of the mountain. Splitting it from one giant mountain to two smaller ones. Regardless what you wind up doing-keep it going champ your doing amazing work! Also-in terms of the running out of space eventually issue-who says you cant 'Remix' sections of the city and change them into cool new exciting things! I think people would keep tuned in to see what else you do with it beyond completion. So no pressure brother keep enjoying the process what ya'll have done is awesome!
You mentioned that one fork of the creek will meander toward the mountain. Which way is the water flowing? Don’t forget about gravity. BTW Jasper Nat’l Park is one of my favorite places in the world. The drive in and through the Canadian Rockies is spectacular.
For your supports for the mountains. I think you should build a bunch of 48x48 or 32x32 cube type supports. That you can stack and visualise. If possible, you can build them a brick/ sheet of melamine (thickness) short, and you can put a larger sheet of melamine over the top tieing everything together. Loving your content
it would be neat too try some abandoned railroad track with a abandoned train somehwere. i really hoping you continue working on train yard. i like that area.
I knew this video wasnt too far behind the recent massive lego shipment lol. I just know it was eating at you not having the full foundation set up around the city. I cant wait to see the new and continuing projects you have in store for us for Q4!
I couldn’t agree more, in the sense you should order after you consume the ones you have. I made that mistake and I have too many pieces to integrate in the city since I’m also making mils.. 😊
With such a big mountain structure are you going to have any kind of storytelling under the mountain? That would be fun to see on the POV train footage when it goes through the tunnel.
Hey Bricksie, loving the progress! Have you thought about adding a stadium to the city, maybe near the amusement park? There are some awesome options, the Santiago Bernabeu (Madrid), Old Trafford (Manchester) or Camp Nou (Barcelona).
Hi Jordan! You should add a wood structure for the mountain... it will save a bunch of pieces no? Always a pleasure to see your layout s evolution ❤ Edit: OK OK... I wrote the comment before the end... 😅
Unrelated to this MILS plate thingy, but what about closing all the access holes in the middle of the tables? They do not look nice. Obviously you need the open to access the area far from the side. you could build some movable structure that lowers and slides out of the way when you need to pop out of the hatch, and slides back to place when you do not need it
Do you have any plans for a cable car or ski lift this time on the mountains, wondering if you go for a cable car if it would be possible to use upside down roller coaster track with the bike chains attached to the cable cars, might be worth looking into
Hey, I just noticed the if a train takes the tunnel entrance in the countryside, it changes direction to counterclockwise but there is no way for the train to change back to clockwise after that
I understand the value in MILS as far as stability and moveability go, but does it make any sense to just slap another 32x32 on top instead of smaller plates? Not sure if it's a cost issue but would definitely be a time saver.
Hi. I'm making a diorama similar to you in Korea. I have a question about the base plate module. Doesn't it break or break if you only use 2x2 blocks because the rigidity of the board is weak? (I'm making a frame with blocks, inverted slopes, blocks, based on 3 blocks in height.) I'm worried about the price and weight. If your way is strong, I'd like to change it to yours, too.
Love how you referred to your trip to Billund as a vacation, even though it is technically a business trip. Bricksie living your best life! Have a great time.

@roknboker me too! Flipping EPIC idea!
Thanks guys..👍💪
And in that mine shaft, he should have the DeLorean boarded up as an Easter Egg...if you know, you know.

@bricksie you should build the roller coaster into the side of the mountain
That’s a good idea
@3:01 RIP the green plate that was left in the bag.
I saw that too...

I love how shiny the new MILS plates look as you walked past them
You should build a freeway connecting the downtown, residential and countryside areas

That’s a big job done . Enjoy your trip . You will be looking forward to getting back to continuing building . Tfs

There's always time to develop as cash flow persists. One brick order at a time.

Please be careful when taking photos!!!!! Remember LEGO had a heart attack over it photo of Rocket
“I need ‘em all!!” cackled Bricksie maniacally.
Hey Bricksie, loving the progress! Have you thought about adding a stadium to the city, maybe near the amusement park? There are some awesome options, the Santiago Bernabeu (Madrid), Old Trafford (Manchester) or Camp Nou (Barcelona).
Watching this while i build my own mils plates ❤❤
I’m surprised you don’t overlap the plate on the seems of the base plates. Seems like this would make a stronger MILS plate.
That is painful. My hands would hurt after building a lot of those mils plates 😂 keep up the great work. 👍
Whatever you do in Billund, do not show any embargoed sets this time! 😅😂😂
It won't be long until the kids are able to help out

You should keep all of that extra packing chipboard for leveling out tables/base-plates in the future. Also, my guess at your brick budget is 10K.
I hope someday we see a return of the farm.
@@dinibo pretty sure it will be in the country side!🤞🏼🤞🏼
Make sure you have your Lego Passport ready so you can get it stamped all over Billund
With the mountain being so big, will there be a secret area accessible from UNDERNEATH the city?
Unrelated to this MILS plate thingy, but what about closing all the access holes in the middle of the tables? They do not look nice.

you could build some movable structure that lowers and slides out of the way when you need to pop out of the hatch, and slides back to place when you do not need it
You should have a waterfall on the mountain
Now that is a ton of plates and bricks. Which company did you use to order all your green base plates thank you.
Would love to see some corn or wheat fields in country side
Why is the train yard on green baseplates? Would grey be more realistic and give you back some of the green baseplates you need?
Do you have any plans for a cable car or ski lift this time on the mountains, wondering if you go for a cable car if it would be possible to use upside down roller coaster track with the bike chains attached to the cable cars, might be worth looking into

Can you share the construction diagram and parts of the logo emblem on your wall?
@Bricksie Why having two plates? I know I missed you answer in one of your videos but I am so curious.
Do you plan on lighting your city at some point?
i need a video from the train view please
If you are building hills and mountains please considers mines and underground bases
The creek should connect to the ocean.

The bottoms of baseplates don't adapt to studs, unfortunately, but that would be ideal.
thats a lot
I think I would be cool if the train went through at valley of sorts. 🙂
I miss the go kart park
😱
In England we have a little random building near our residential area. This is a power grid building. Does the US have these small structures?
Received 100k parts

1 week later: Needs to place a new order
I have been making mils place for some customer 3d printer parts for an ideal.

couldn't you make skeleton mills plates with 2x plates joining the 2x2 bricks for under the mountain?
Naked studs always beats white table tops
Only if Lego made thick. base plate thick as mile s plate s so not need to you's all the bricks . Wich could be yoused .for other parts of the city. 😊
Brickcrafts brought me here
Make sure your careful of what your video and show off your trip to Denmark remember jail time...
What is the point of MILS plates, why is it better than just using a base plate?
Hi
Meet n Greet in the AMS....
Wait, correct me if I’m wrong but is he saying the creek comes down Ninjago, down the countryside and then back up the mountain again😅
Remember not to film any inbargoed product while you are at Lego!
Have fun in Amsterdam…
Combien de dizaines de milliers de dollars pour construire toute la ville ? 😮 tu es riche 😄👏👏👏
Is it a tabo in the lego community to paint your own blocks/pieces etc?
Yes
I am from Denmark
You could use different shades of green...nature is not 1-colored!
Not finished yet
Got the love of god don't leak anything this time
Where does the term “mills plate” originate from? 🤔
MILS (Modular integrated Landscaping system for LEGO)
@@richardwilkinson1253thank you! I was thinking it was named after the guy that invented it. lol.
