    I have had quite a lot of trauma in my life and know what my sad/anxiety "triggers" are. It was a light bulb moment when you said about happy triggers. I'm on a mission now to find them and remind myself of them is I feel low or if I need to cancel out a negative trigger. What are everyones happy triggers? X

      Nice one, yes definitely consider your happy triggers. One of mine is thinking about my little nephews and nieces. They delight me instantly!! B :)

      How do u find happy triggers if your hole life has been negative experiences resulting from child abuse

    • @lo4938
      @lo4938 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@reg8297 I'm sorry about what you have had to deal with :( I would challenge the idea of not having any happy triggers though, even in the most tragic of circumstances I find there's always something that prevails 💕 wishing you happy times and healing

    Depends entirely on the reason you are suffering emotionally. If you are in Covid lockdown and already were living alone, disabled so you can't go for walks, and then 2 or 3 other REAL life things.... sink drain clogs, someone next door is blasting music, and you have a migraine -- just try see how easy it is to change your mood and see how much difference it makes. NONE. REAL life situations require real life changes in order for there to be anything more than a few seconds of relief.

      Well said ive suffered life long effects of a parents abuse went onto meet father of my kids who abused me I left him he brainwashed my kids to hate me I'm still trying to get over it the hurts are unbearable I wonder how I can have happy triggers with all that overload

      @rumplestilskinsmum5094 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Exactly! Your neighbours are arguing, again, the dogs got a skin rash ( for no apparent reason), police outside to arrest a dude for domestic. Drug dealers pulling up for someone on the corner.
      Ahhh, but don't worry, just chill.
      Have a walk in the park, which is full of people with screeming kid's with parents on their phone's. Not to mention the overflowing bins.
      But, don't worry, just relax.
      🤦🏻‍♀️
      Lol.

    One way... "... quickly go and give some pleasure to someone lowly or sorrowful, or to a guilty or innocent sufferer! Sacrifice yourself, your talent, your time, your rest to another, to one who has to bear a heavier load than you -- and your unhappy mood will dissolve." ~ Baha'i Faith

    Does anyone ever just get really bad moods out of nowhere?

    • @Bernadette_Logue
      @Bernadette_Logue  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think we can all point to times when we've just felt a shift into a bad mood for no apparent reason. You're definitely not alone in that. I have noticed if I sit still with myself eg in meditation, I can usually point to something underlying that has agitated me into a bad mood, e.g an underlying restlessness, or frustration, or worry.
