I have a isi mini (love it) and have used about 3 times. Last night I was surprised to see black all around the the top and gasket when I removed to clean. The cream had been in the container only for a few days in the fridge. Would these be mould or some kind of reaction with the charger? I did not see this before and am concerned. Thanks in advance.
Dear Giorgos, the amount of chargers you have to use depends on the size of the Whip only. This means: Always use 2 Chargers when using a 1 L Whip and 1 Charger, if you use a 0,5 L Whip, no matter, how much cream you've filled in!

For sure But the N02 is more for whipping creams... because it will not salted them, it has a neutral taste. CO2, is quiet salty (think at carbonated water) C02 is more for drinks.

But a little tip from our experts: For 0.5 L and 0.25 L Food Whipper always use 1 charger, for 1 L Whip always 2 chargers! If you use more chargers than recommended it will not have an effect. Our built-in pressure relief valve will ensure that the excess gas escapes! This means, you'll never need 3 chargers :) If you have any other question, please let us know!
Hi Grant, you can keep it warm at ~70°C for about 4 hours. Just store the Whip in a baine-marie or a warm water bath. But please use our heat protection cover, the whips are getting quite hot ;)

In fact, the charges should not be disposed into the scrap metal as long as they are filled. But 20 years is a long time and our system has changed a lot during the last 5 - 10 years. @laurastroebel4774 - better add sweet sirup or fresh vanilla powder instead of sugar. It will work with sugar, but imagine you'd put sugar in the engine of you car. It will minimize the performance.
When making parmesan espuma, is it ok to forego using the sieve if you don't mind a bit of texture in the espuma, or will it clog the dispenser? Also, this video is very helpful! The instructions that came with the product are not clear about using two cannisters.

You should ensure that the iSi Whipper and the cream are well chilled. It is advisable to briefly pre-chill your iSi Whipper in the refrigerator and to make 100 % sure that you do not use a whipper that is still warm from being washed. UHT cream should be stored in the refrigerator for 24 hours before being used in your whipper.
I keep the cream and whipper in the fridge for a few hours, then charge it, shake, then put it back in the fridge for two hours. Shake again before using. Longer might be better but I haven't noticed a significant difference. If you can make it a day ahead of time, it isn't a bad idea.
You can ! But I'd recommend light syrup, its just a great thing to sweeten up things in different variations! We found that the favorite syrup brand is Monin www.monin.com/us/
For what to come out? I have trouble getting the charger to dispense and hear that wishing sound. I have to tighten it a lot and it usually takes two or three tries. 😠

That depends very much on the product. It might be that there is no difference at all if they have the same ingredients.
Make sure it has at least 36% fat content.

I would email their customer service for a repair. The seal/mechanism inside is broken.
