    Good as usual! Can you talk more about where or how they find Stops, where the Stops are, and why setting Stops can throw one out of a trade, or perhaps you have one already

    Just a large short smoking the bid. Was not SSR. Start the party and let the painic take over. Happens every day. Short traders prey on fear. Not hard to see the volume rolling over and rhe bid support dry up.

    Ross, two questions on this:
    1. So these big sell/buy blocks can be on ONE platform and affect all of them in the same instant, correct?
    2. Is it possible all those big sell orders you showed were in ONE TOTAL order and that breakdown is how they filled?

      That's right, it would affect all users trading that stock, as they are all using the same exchange data.
      It's possible that it was all one order, however, it's hard to know for sure.

    Hey! So is it true that the green on time and sales is buys and red is sells? Heard a high end trader state that is not true

      Trades are the ask show in green, while trades at the bid show in red. Trades in between the bid/ask show in white

    Thank you for your free, genuine guides and knowledge on the stock market. I have stock in amc, 10k worth, and I'm scared to jump out until I get my money back, of which it was 26 dollars I bought at, as well as some calls. I have made decently in the stock market, but as a novice.       Not advice but if I was in your situation and you have 10k of shares only worth $500 I'd hold to get at least half back. You're down so much already you might as well wait for a bull market meme run. Won't happen soon but maybe next year or 2. Just my opinion good luck 👍

    I've asked this question several times on TH-cam but have not received an answer as of yet. So, I'll try it here. I'm looking for an alert app/service that will notify me when there is a general volume surge, a surge in Bid volume, a spike in volatility, and a momentum shift in price(not just a hit at a target price) but a change of momentum. All of this within a specified time frame. If I could code I would create this app/service...

    Ross, I had taken half my profit then I was caught in this flush, such a bummer. However when it resumed I doubled down (on the half size that I had left) and sold at 650 for a “net” small loss. Scary. And possibly stupid to have doubled down 🙄

    Yup!..It happened to me and I saw these algos like I think 3 times today. I average and kept buying the dips and sold for profit when it goes back up. Lucky for me, I didn't used up all my extra cash before these algos flushed happened or I would have been in the RED!!! I kept my Patience and didn't panic.

      Today was a good day. I didn't practice what you preach though I stayed. I overstayed my welcome on a couple of them but they'll go back up tomorrow and then maybe I'll sell them out light bridge Nvidia they were just taken off so good I couldn't pull out. I have a lot investing in them and they look like they're gonna continue going up so I'll keep a close eye on him but I definitely try to listen to what you say it's always in the back of my mind. I sure do appreciate these videos.

      Ross tries to avoid the times of day where they typically happen, in addition he uses hotkeys and is able to exit quickly if he doesn't see confirming price action after his entry.

    The scenario you present is only one of many possibilities. You gave zero explanation for why you chose that scenario. It doesn’t even work as you described usually. Liquidity providing algorithms get onto the order book when big orders rapidly remove liquidity. It’s the opposite of what you describe regarding market makers. But for newbies who don’t know how the market works you sure sound entertaining and authentic. Well done.

    I think the other thing that didn’t help was the low float. I believe float was less than 1 M shares, so doesn’t take much to move the stock.

    I got caught in a nasty algo flush yesterday, I think it was on REV...bastards! We gotta get this PFOF off the table, these people can see our orders and stops, and then pull their bids to take out all the stops, and then they have both our cash and our stock...the bastards

I really think we would all benefit if we saw the actual coding in the script and then watch you use it in real time. I know you use Control P to set a profit take, Control B for get out at break even, etc. But I really need to see them all and then see the keys as you hit them and the reaction from the price action!

      @@DaytradeWarrior was one of the stocks i was keeping an eye on, but I didn't get into it, stocks like that are too wippy for me to predict rn, though now i am accepting of the idea, toss a low amount of shares to try stuff like that, 200 shares or something of the sort.

    Ahhh that's how my 2nd attempt to get back into day trading failed. With an algo flush. That's what I saw happen to my account. There will be a 3rd, but with tools I'm making.
