@@gavinandalan3028 when did I mention in my comment that I thought it will be a part 2? And one still needs to revise part 1 before part 2 as they play a bluff by the whole messiah story. The reveal in the end of part 2 was also quite confusing for a lot of my friends who didn’t watch any recap before part 2. If you can’t respect others then at-least don’t spread out negativity 😄✌🏻
You deserve a sub after this. I just saw Platform 2 released and forgot how awesome the original movie was seeing this and all the details i forgot about.
I feel like this movie didn't answer any of its own questions. Where did the child come from? Children aren't allowed in, and the mother has only been there for 10 months. Was the mother previously in the pit, gave birth to this kid, was released without the child, and then made up another reason to go back in? How did she not find her kid if she was making frequent visits to every floor? Also, how is he the ONLY person to have thought to bring a book to prison... I know it would make more sense to bring a weapon but clearly not everyone knows it's going to be a combative environment since they're bringing surfboards and shit. Multiple characters mention that he is the only person with a book. Is that just supposed to be a quirky main character thing? What is happening up on the top floor where they prepare the food? None of those scenes felt relevant to the plot or story at all. Overall, I was entertained, but I hope the sequel provides more explanations than this one did.
1) Its random & thats another metaphor to the real world that say if you are on a higher level in the platform in one month and eat more than your need, leave almost nothing for the lower platforms you should also keep in mind that in the next month you might get stuck on a lower level and face the same fate you made the others go through! So this is the film’s way to tell us to karma can return to us. 2) Not sure if everyone was in a previous jail as this prison exists since a very long time & we dont know who made it or its whereabouts
