a very satisfying thursday puzzle for me! I usually struggle with the themed ones, but this one came pretty quickly

I could not solve GAB. I thought it was "GAG", as a gag gift can be annoying to the recipient :(

I lost 3 min on same error
I missed the extra puzzle in this entirely, even after getting 39 down. I had to come here to get the solution to (what appeared to be) complete nonsense answers.
That’s Thursdays for you. I find Thursdays the hardest of the week sometimes.
