In my opinion West Virginia and Oklahoma State are the 2 biggest brands left in the big 12 and as far as brand tradition and history gos they are both a teir above everyone else all the other teams even when they are losing and not doing to well in sports these 2 teams right here are the most prestigious in the entire conference and honestly are the face of this conference its a shame wvu a SEC team actually has never won a big 12 championship in my opinion if you had a big 12 east division champion in West Virginia and a big 12 west division champion in oklahoma state that would be one hell of a big 12 championship and one I would pay unlimited money to see every year it would never get old not to mention I think if these 2 would ever meet in a big 12 championship not only would it be probably the most viewed big 12 champion ship of all time but it would be out of any other team playing now that ou and ut are gone these 2 teams here are the house hold division 1 teams of the big 12 honestly the two best traditions records and some of the greatest football history ever not to mention not only would that big 12 title increase the big 12s viewer ship numbers from a business perspective but I could only imagine the money that game would make just in ticket , food , and beer sales we are talking maybe a billion dollars or better I know your going to make a million just in beer sells from west virginia fans lol thats for sure hahaha and probably the same for oklahoma state now that is a big12 championship that would never get old that I'd honestly pay for espn plus just to watch once a year
Brown needs to study the game film of OSU v KSU and figure out how the Wildcats pulled off a huge win against one of the lowest ranked defenses in Division One football and how they neutralized Ollie Gordon.
For me, Neil Brown needs to win the rest of the games on the schedule and two or three extra that aren’t to keep his job. Because next year doesn’t look very good in any case. With losing so many lineman to graduation. If West Virginia wants to stay relevant in today’s landscape of college football, they needed to be good yesterday.. and actually for the benefit of the conference these two teams need to step up step out and show out when they get on the national stage. The sun is setting if they don’t.
Mike gundy is a football savant he may be getting old and taking a step back but thats not the issue it sounds like he's butting heads with somebody within his staff honestly and it could be bleeding out into the team you got to remember these are kids playing football not men yet but kids and mentally and emotionally they are affected just as much as the coaches I'm a diehard West Virginia fan but I've always had great respect for mike gundy and have always liked Oklahoma State especially in wrestling as the saying gos Real Recognize Real and thats facts hats off to Oklahoma State they will bounce back 1 or 2 bad games doesn't define you as a team or a man anyone can beat anyone on any given day if its your day its your day if its not your day then its not a lot of factors that are out of our hands the coaches hands and players hands can affect the outcome of any game weather it be for the better or worse I'd say this is a rebuilding year for Oklahoma State and they will kill it in recruiting they do every year unlike wvu its hard to be a recruiter at west virginia you basically have to recruit Miami florida Pennsylvania and Alabama to put together a decent team and I don't know how they do it over there at wvu but besides here lately normally wvu ends up putting a team together of absolute dogs on offense and defense they've fell off recently since joining the big 12 they've gotten worse standards wise and play wise they're not holding they're self to the standard us wvu fans are use to like beating georgia clemson notre dame Michigan state and miami to not even being competitive its sad but as I said its hard to recruit at west virginia you basically have to get the kid on campus tours to even have a chance
Neal Brown needs it more for his seat is warm-hot. Gundys proven he can, unlike Neal, continually underachieve but yet keep his seat from getting hot. NB is right about running a hurry up vs normal O. However, since normal O isnt working then some sort of change is obviously needed. So mixing it up between the 2 types would probably work better than just sticking with what obviously isnt working while you try to find the fix you need.
