Nice engine. Electric start is an option, just has a different flywheel housing. Never seen the hand starting bell mine has a crank.
+Ryan B This Wisconsin THD came on a hay baler, that's why it has the bell for starting. John Deere and New Holland balers used them in the 40s and 50s. Yes they did make them with electric start for other equipment.
This is a great engine made to last. I have a few and each works great with one that smokes and needs rings.

Good running engine doesn't even walk around on the concrete

How's it running today? It sounded like it was loading up at idle, so perhaps the needle in the carburetor was stuck or float was leaking.
