Dude. The target deputy skill is always what kills you!!! You have a nice attack speed going all around you, keeping the horde back, and then a deputy arrives and all of a sudden shots only go in one direction and the horde swarms!
I think the bad upgrades that he got that killed his build was the nitro explosion, and the projectile returns back. The deputy focus skill is kind of a bad one too because it's a double edged sword, he gains temporary buff but enemies can swarm him and uses up all his hearts on the ground.
Deputy focus is the problem. Nitro explosion is fine with projectile returns, but locking into just firing on deputies means that he can't clear chaff and they'll hit him in repeated succession and push the deputy away. EDIT: Also, AoE size increases the range of the returning shots before they come back, so is definitely not an upgrade that should be slept on when he has SEVEN effects affected by it.
I would say deputy with this class is suicide, slow projectiles sucks but, yeah DF doesn't care for "projectile speed" and shuriken offed him as he doesn't have any AoE

Area of effect increases the range of explosions or your Aura you could take enough of those upgrades that it covers the entire screen. It would help with wave clear but the size of explosions could cause lag.
if you are extra bigger its fun cuz 1.more enemy cuz you see further 2.everything is bigger you're shots if you have 15 hp shoot 2 ppl at once do that does remove 2 of you're pierce but thats a good thing i think 3.all you're area of effect better 4.more funny lag and more damage more bounty

Quick tip for the ability that doubles your attack speed if you dont move: dashing ist not considered moving, so if you dash without touching left stick/WASD, you keep your attackspeed :)
If you stack enough cooldowns and have enough dashes, like 10 dashes with 80% cooldown and maybe some bouns from the dash rewards, you can run around with 3 different explosions on dash, never running out. Tie this in with raw damage, crit damage and area of effect and you just dash left and right, killing everything in one hit around you, as well as picking up everything on the screen all the time. Also, the cooldown effects abilities like the shield you have, and it's possible to get the shield to like 5 second cooldown, as well as the stacking attack speed triggering more often etc.
DF saying he should stack damage with less than 100% crit is just prime DF. My good sir, getting up to 100% crit is literally getting 1000% percent damage up.

I wonder if increasing his area of effect changes the range that his attack speed changes at. If that was so, it'd be cool to make it thr size of the screen so that he could basically always have this character's attack speed boost. Slower projectile speed is the most detrimental upgrade you can get. The issue is that your character fires on his own, so the longer a bullet takes to kill an enmey the more bullets your character will fire at that one enemy before taregting others. Theres not point firing 10 bullets at one guy, when he will die in 1 hit. Slow projectiles allow enemies to close the gap super fast on you, and have often lead to your run ending
df look at this build, you just build up damage and attack speed, probably critical chance too, you know, anything that helps melt everything that gets close to you and then you pick the projectile slower area with some shields i think it will be very very fun

Pierce upgrades are still good for the shurikan upgrade since it adds 5 pierces and not unlimited pierces so it can't go back and forth through 3 mobs in a line without pierce upgrades.
You know, in theory you could do the area slow + the damage in the area every half second then just stack area effect upgrades and try to cover the screen with a slowing, constant damage field
Im disappointed and proud of df, he does things that make me happy since its a good decision but almost all the times he forgets alot like he has 2 area effects the slow and the poison and he SAYS he DOESN'T have any area effect when he could have had increase those two area effects but as a df fan i've learned to suppress my disappointment still love your vids keep up the great work
you do know that your auras would increase in size if you took the area affect perks right? not picking those legendary perks was a bad choice. also turning off the damage numbers will help with lag
You will always want fast projectiles and fast attack speed when you are one-shotting everything. If you combine them both, then you are shooting three times towards an enemy, instead of focusing the next one.
Please take projectile speed. Bullets reach enemies faster which means that you switch targets faster and waste less bullets firing at the same target. Btf love you vids.
honestly i feel like the less accurate for attack speed is a bad upgrade. for example if an enemy is about to hit you that accuracy down will let them walk through your attack.
The +60% crit chance would've boosted your damage by a net 5x, since you were at 1000% crit damage, and it would boost you to 110% crit chance. So it would've just been a straight up MASSIVE damage increase.
loved it but please turn off the tnt bombs in the menu omg you can save your lag from happening and it help so much that and you wont have to deal with that lag all the time but up to you im just trying to help out ^^ good video man
Have you tried Soulstone Survivors? It definitely feels like a you kind of game - ridiculous combos, insane ability upgrades, and oh yes - **Tons of damage**
too bad you didn't get the 2x attack speed if standing still lol, that with the crits explode, 6x faster attack speed but 3x less damage and there was another one that worked really well :D although It did lag the game like crazy ._.
DF, if your projectiles still have pierce they don't bounce/ricochet so you'll have to choose between piercing or bouncing because picking both cancels bouncing in most cases.
Don't ignore crit chance... at 1000% you're doing 10x damage but 50% crit chance went help you as much as 100% would. Then at that point you just build crit damage and ignore regular damage. 100% crit damage>40 base damage
Area affect upgrades fucking everything from your character range's range, character abilities like the one that gives attack speed based on how close an enemy is to you, to explosion size, aoe ability size, your bullets hit box and so on. It's easily one of the most beneficial things to upgrade, and it's always paired with the pickup range which is great. Slow projectile is genuinely terrible though. Slow projectiles have your character firing way too many shots at one guy instead of killing everyone around him, it's just ad bad as the always target deputees.

Just infinity dashing. Get a 20% cooldown.
The abilities are the deputy drop chest things that you get. You can see their cool downs next to your bounty

Every time he passes up on a legendary radius increase for a blue or grey causes me physical pain
