- Husky Mini Fridge Review.
My review of the Husky Mini Fridge, ours is the Prosecco version but all the glass fronted Fridges are the same but have different graphics on the side & on the glass.
For best results from this Husky fridge make sure you regularly defrost it so there is no ice build up at the back.

I bought the Subcold mini fridge based on your review and the fact their temp range starts from 0 deg where the Husky supposedly starts at 5 deg, only had it a month but it is 0 deg at the bottom shelves and 2 deg at the top on setting no. 5.
I too manage a constant 5deg at number 4 with my Subcold .
Which subcold have you got
My Husky fridge like this one had never gone below 8c and was running 24hrs a day pretty much all the time. Today I mounted a 120mm 5v usb computer fan in front of the cooler plate inside the top rear of the fridge blowing towards the plate as it appeared to circulate better that way (no idea what the correct name for the plate is 😁) I turned the fridge on and within 30minutes it was down to 4c in the top half and 5c at the bottom. I have just had to turn the thermostat down from number 5 to about 2 before it turned off. I have turned it back to number 3 and will monitor the temperature for the next day or two to see if the stat operates ok. 🤞🤞

@@LurgsHowToGuides Yesterday I played around with the stat setting. I am now tempted to fit a digital thermostat next as the switching difference on the fridges stat is around 5c. What I can say though is now the contents have cooled down it is happily turning off at 2c and back on at 7c, it cools the fridge from 7c to 2c in around 15 minutes and shuts off for 15minutes!! Should save a bundle on electric and nice cold beer at last!!! 😁😁😁

Wish Id seem this earlier had my new one on all night on 5 the ones in the top are cold the ones in the bottom aren't and that's all night it's gonna be useless this thing. Did you get one you were happy with in the end if so which one because I need to buy a new one now
No still got ours. It’s not too bad but not as good as a real fridge.
If it’s that new maybe return it. Before this we had a chiller and that was even worse.
@@LurgsHowToGuides I think the cans I left on the bottom shelf are the same temp as when I plugged it in last night my wife came home and after running for five hours she thought I hadn't turned it on only the ones at the back on top shelf are cold it's useless pretty gutted
It does take a while to get cold but if you are that unhappy take it back and say it’s not what you wanted, get a cheap real fridge
