Cause they keep breaking down and failing....trust me they are not very good cars
Because they dont selling in USA
Man i’ve seen some 50s cars in culiacan sinaloa a kinda poor place (cuz’ i live there) it’s impressing...
That's bs! In the UK there are thousands of old Peugeot still on the road despite huge scrappage scheme by the government, and the recent ulez by our evil London mayor 😅
@@deanosaur808 yeah I hope most of your nice euro cars will be imported into the US so they don't get destroyed when ur government outlaws old cars
Wow, the Live-Action Brave Little Toaster
remake is looking great!
As an owner of a Peugeot 207 with the 1.6 VTI engine i can't understand most of the comments. These cars are really good...
...At least if you're a mechanic and have money and the place and tools to repair it.
They dont sell them in america but we do get quite a few either through being imported or someone bringing them with them. Ive had the misfortune of working on a few.
You should have bought a diesel.
Americans are sensitive souls. They loved these old cars so much they sent them to the scrapyard lol
Now they dig them out of barns, fields etc because they are now collectable 😉
Really, Peugeot makes some good cars, but there are some that are real shit
I... I'm... I'm broken
This commercial broke me
A Peugeot drives down American roads, which makes the old, junked out American cars sing excitedly
Peugeots are incredibly rare in America, and have not been sold here since 1991
The American cars at the beginning were in good condition, however they begin to sing themselves apart
The ad was sung in English, the onscreen words are in French
American cars are American exclusive, most Americans don't know French, France does not have deserts, placing this ad in French America, which doesn't exist
Why don't they use old European cars?
Who was this ad made for?? Are they just making fun of 70's American cars to promote their 2010's European car? In Europe?? Why?!? What sense does that make?!
Am I just over analyzing a Peugeot 207 commercial?! Why am I like this?!
No
@@gabsbergs5423 a ok
OK GOOD
Hahahaha hahahaha
These guys are such liars this whole ad is a lie
Esse comercial é uma farsa inteira
Peugeot attempted to diss the classic car culture and failed spectacularly. At least the commercial wasn’t as bad lmao
That's not the point of the ad ignorant Peugeot troll. It's about the 207s fuel efficiency versus these old gas guzzlers
@@SherwinR89 ever hear of actually taking care of and improving your car? with some work and maybe an engine swap 300hp and 30mpg is very possible, but yall would lose yer fucking minds if I told you this were with a 'gas guzzling ls'
@@gregor3099 man, the diesels can even go up to 50mpg! They keep complaining abt shitty engines but have not experienced the tank that is the 1.6hdi turbo lmao
@@gregor3099 you are the brain dead moron. Rather be 'safe' while knowing nothing about the vehicles at the time and just assuming it was unsafe because that's the wonderful cliche you've been manipulated/guilt tripped into believing. Of course you'd play the "why buy death trap old rustbox" dick.
@@gregor3099 another thing to note with these Malaise Era Shitboxes is that they weren’t even good when they came out, the 70s has always the worst era for American cars and people didn’t like them back then.
However you feel about Peugeot, you cannot deny this ad firm was brilliant
And that ad firm was probably American 😅
0:14 that Lincoln/Cadillac is in perfect shape why is it being towed
Maybe, its broken inside
I want that one
Maybe its owner abandoned it
It's because one of it's tires are messed up and two of its headlights are dead
Who would tow a FWD car like that?
I love how these old 70s/80s Classic American cars are sing a song in the commercial and that makes me also sing a song lol
Kk ok
@@williamshakespeare88 a propaganda eu achei ótima mas o carro não
Ngl the old cars look better than the car they're trying to sell
Cars 4 looks really good and it's still in development!
Idk whats weirder
That the animation was ahead of its time
Or the fact that ive never been more scared of talking cars
Wait until you see Christine 😱🤣🤣
And she didn't even talk lol
Still daily driving my 50 year old Chevy. Don’t know how long a plastic Peugeot is gonna last but it ain’t no 50 years.
Ironically, the peugeot has way less hard plastics than any of the modern economy cars of today.
@@rcnumbers3562 A fair rebuttal good sir. And I have to admit this is one of the better advertisements I've seen.
Mom can we watch cars 3
Mom: we have cars 3 at home
Cars 3 at home:
Good one hahahah
The Live Action version of Cars looks sick ngl
I've been looking for this for 10 years now and I'm so happy I finally found it.
Check out the 206 and, it's good! 👍
Great advert! Now I want to buy all of those awesome classic cars!
It may be one of the worst advertisements that ever existed, but it was much more entertaining than any advertisement we have today.
weird how according to this ad i would apparently prefer a peugoet 207 over all the decent cars in that ad. The only reason the peuget 207 exists still is because its cheap af (and not cheap in a good way. Looks for a start)
Yep I had one and went back to a older BMW
My Parents got me one i have a reason why i am gonna sell it again in 2-3 months because IT leaks oil in every opening I even have oil in my Air intake
these cars look nice, but they are bad quality, gas guzzlers. They are considered the worst of the american auto industry, that's why a lot of japanese cars would be imported into america in the years following this era, nearly bankrupting all manufacturers if it weren't for the government stepping in.
STFU Peugeot troll. Have you actually owned one and speak from experience or are you pulling that statement out of your arse?
@@SherwinR89 No i was at a local dealership where the owner even told me That i have the worst Engine for That Model
0:07 when I see a 207 walking without being on top of the winch:
I really enjoy the animations of these cars, they are really Well done
new cars are just cars.
old cars got looks and personally.
