There was a time when I never used the brakes in 200cc. I got triple stars on every cup in 200cc back in 2017. Nowadays though? I brake all the time. Even occasionally in 150cc on really difficult turns. Braking is basically crucial for many moments, and without it, you have to rely on being far ahead of your opponents to make it out alive.
I used to never use the breaks but one day I was about to have a match with someone and was waiting for them. I read the help screen as a joke as I was bored and I didn’t expect it to give me tips I didn’t know about lol

Finding someone playing other than Daisy or Funky Kong was something you would screenshot given the chance. It was (and still is - people loved Mario Kart Wii so much, they rebuilt the online servers themselves when Nintendo stopped supporting it. MKWii modding of crazy, check out CTGP if you get the chance.) way worse than the Waluigi supremacy in Mario Kart 8 online.

On 150 and 200cc on Mushroom Gorge if you take the right path in the cave section and take the turn correctly you can use a mushroom and as your about to hit the grass you can hop and jump the gap at the end
I heard that they are updating the dlc if not already, they added a few features to tracks, fixed some bugs, i dont have the full scoop bc i dont have a switch, tho i tend to keep up on the small things
I can guarantee you that Sydney in Australia is just as awesome as it is in Sydney Sprint. (Maybe without the music (unless you play the music via speaker or phone or something))
So, if the most u have heard about 200cc is "use the brake button" then do u know about brake drifting. Because using brake drifting is honestly very important to 200cc. Rainbow Road (the space one, also known as the GOOD one) bassically requires u to use brake drifting to get through it. To brake drift, u need to start a drift and then hold the b button during said drift. You would have done it right if your karts starts making a screeching sound and u slow down a little. Dont hold the button for too long tho, or else you will lose your drift. Hope this helps in anyway :DDDD

i use 200cc a lot and never use the breaks. they're all filthy liars. you just have to memorize the course and you'll be fine
