The reason Silver is in the game is because once Eggman had a large amount of the world under his control, he attacked Silver's timeline. Thus, Silver joined the resistance. The comic also explained that when the wisps joined the resistance, they agreed to put themselves in the capsules so that they could help resistance members with the guns when they needed them

I have watched many cutscene movies of Sonic the Hedgehog games, and Sonic acts slightly differently in those games. First off, he's talking faster than usual, which is something quite a few people do when they are nervous to say something or think they might get into trouble. They try to desperately say or explain as much as possible in a short amount of time and end up rushing what they are saying. Sonic is most likely making these "Jokes" to calm himself down to try and gain a sense of normality. Remember, Sonic was not only beaten by Infinite pretty badly, but he is now in a world that is almost completely controlled by Eggman, and it is mentioned that he was possibly tortured for a long time. Not only that, but he seems fidgety, now, this has been mentioned to be a trait of his when nothing is going on, but in this moment, there is something going on. His pacing also seems a bit more restless than usual, he is taking very short and quick steps over a short distance, almost as if he is afraid of moving too far from where he is standing. The final thing to note is that when he asks about Infinite's power, he does not look at him. His eyes move to look almost straight in front of himself, while with the previous questions he asks, he looks up to where Infinite is. This is so brief that it is almost unnoticeable while watching the cutscene unless you look for it or are looking at his eyes or body language. In conclusion, Infinite is right, Sonic is actually scared, he just isn't admitting it. Sonic is used to feeling like he has the upper hand, but he doesn't feel that way in this case, and he is trying to make it seem like he does by trying to act like his usual self. The game itself, the graphics, and the story might not be the best, but the animations in the cutscenes are sometimes very good and subtle. Something I think should be recognized.

People, remember that we had Super Mario Odyssey and Zelda BotW before Sonic Forces. Both of these game AND Sonic Mania put the expectations too high. People expected Sonic Forces to be a masterpiece, but it's average so people are disapointed
Some people actually really liked this game. I thought it was ok, but not the best. Its mainly disappointing because we've seen SEGA make a type of game like this before but so much better. This game try's to be like Generations and Colors but still trying to be this "new experience" which ends up holding the game back.
Clickbait McClickbait I think it's mainly because the trailers said it was made by the same people as Colors and Generations, so people expected it to be as good as those games. It's certainly not bad. Just not as good as people expected.
There was a rumor floating around that the "people who brought you colors and generations" was actually only about a 1/3rd of those folks. The whole team consisted mostly of inexperienced level designers, and the one EXPERIENCED designer who'd worked fully on a Sonic Game before worked on Lost World.

People, remember that we had Super Mario Odyssey and Zelda BotW before Sonic Forces. Both of these game AND Sonic Mania put the expectations too high. People expected Sonic Forces to be a masterpiece, but it's average so people are disapointed
Dude, I had very low expectation for this game. I just knew this game wasn't going to be on par with Mania.
It's still disappointing.
Some people actually really liked this game. I thought it was ok, but not the best. Its mainly disappointing because we've seen SEGA make a type of game like this before but so much better. This game try's to be like Generations and Colors but still trying to be this "new experience" which ends up holding the game back.
Clickbait McClickbait I think it's mainly because the trailers said it was made by the same people as Colors and Generations, so people expected it to be as good as those games. It's certainly not bad. Just not as good as people expected.
There was a rumor floating around that the "people who brought you colors and generations" was actually only about a 1/3rd of those folks. The whole team consisted mostly of inexperienced level designers, and the one EXPERIENCED designer who'd worked fully on a Sonic Game before worked on Lost World.
BlackDoom5 That's not a rumour it's true. Only 3 people designed Sonic Forces' levels. 2 "rookies" and one inexperienced guy who has only worked on lost world... Another example of brilliant decision making and how to treat your companies' mascot :/

@@deadaccount968 most sonic games do suck though, and this is coming from a fan of alot of them XD i hear generations was a good game but never played it. i just know from my experience with all the 3d games ive played they all suck even sonic adventure 1 and 2 suck in some regards and i love those games to death. i think its sonic adventure 2 which has a major problem with sound quality lol play that shit without headphones and you can't understand a single word being said they music and talking is like at the same level when the music should be more in the background where you can hear it but it doesn't completely overpower the talking. sonic 06 is a disaster, sonic forces not that great especially what they decided to do with your own character if you could play that character the entire time and have him not have a gun, grapple ect.... and just make him play like sonic or like all the other characters combined maybe just something that doesn't feel so out of place for a sonic game it could have been better. sonic boom(no one needs to hear about that abomination) needless to say almost all sonic games are trash. but hey if sega ever decides to stop making sonic games maybe they can go into the music industry XD cause almost all sonic games have good songs lol even shadow the hedgehog had good music XD and most people hate that game....(i still love it though lol) guilty pleasure i guess
@@Mattadork I never get people like you, if you say you had fun with a game why do you insist so much on looking down on it. Sure most of them are objectively flawed, and especially due to the voices of alot of popular youtubers and other media, everyone feels like even when they like a game they have to "admit that it s bad" so people will accept their opinion more or something.
You liked the games, I liked the games, many other people liked the games. Flawed or not, I don t think you can call it a bad game if it s doing exactly what a game needs to do : be a fun experience. So many people have sonic adventure 2 close to their hearts, and even Shadow the hedgehog has its following of people who look past everything other people don t like about the game and just see a fun game in it. Even Sonic 06 is a memorable experience, as it s one of those games "so bad it s kinda fun" , and a few people genuinely enjoyed the game anyways.
In the words of the latest RelaxAlax video : "If you had fun with a game, it has value". Above all else, games are supposed to be fun, and by beeing fun it s doing its job well.
