Just came to say that as a HUGE Evanescence fan, AMY is THAT BITCH. Most underrated vocalist and musician of her generation. The absolute BEST of her generation in fact. I know a lot of millennials definitely appreciate her and regard her as an icon but it stops at Bring Me To Life and My Immortal or at Fallen. No one and I mean NO ONE has a voice like hers in her generation. It’s so unique and angelic and gives me chills all the time. She writes ALL the music Evanescence has put out and that’s so impressive because she’s behind every note and crescendo and that’s rare I think for a female rock musician/vocalist in a band. Amy Lee has a great voice, but she seems often out of air in some moments. I think a couple hours with a voice coach or experienced allrounder singer like Floor Jansen would help her to improve drastically in her live performance and breath properly while doing it. She allready has everything she needs, just some correct breath exercises and she would be unstoppable..
I mean, singing is tiring af...The fact she's sometimes little bit out of breath is normal. Also she improves throught the time as shown in this video.

She is a great singer but I wish she would give her vocals a rest sometimes. Especially with their self titled and their newest album. She pushes her voice too much and she is gonna end up damaging her vocal chords. In between their self titled and when they toured again on 2015 she clearly had vocal lessons.

Amy Lee has a great voice, but she seems often out of air in some moments. I think a couple hours with a voice coach or experienced allrounder singer like Floor Jansen would help her to improve drastically in her live performance and breath properly while doing it. She allready has everything she needs, just some correct breath exercises and she would be unstoppable..
I mean, singing is tiring af...The fact she's sometimes little bit out of breath is normal. Also she improves throught the time as shown in this video.

Its maybe normal to you or another amateur, but professional singers can train to have the endurance for it. There are Metal singers who scream or sing operatic parts and do two hours concerts without looking exhausted at the end. You don't need as much air as some singers use, when you do it right.

She is a great singer but I wish she would give her vocals a rest sometimes. Especially with their self titled and their newest album. She pushes her voice too much and she is gonna end up damaging her vocal chords. In between their self titled and when they toured again on 2015 she clearly had vocal lessons.
