Offered as Hip 40 at the 2016 Saratoga Sale, BOLT D'ORO was purchased for $630,000 by Ruis Racing from the consignment of Denali Stud.
Undefeated in his first three starts, BOLT D'ORO is campaigned by Ruis Racing and trained by Mick Ruis. He has earned nearly $400,000 as of September 2017, and is pointed for the Breeders' Cup Juvenile.
