Respectfully, I disagree. I feel that a combination of Tony Todd as the Symbiote and either Jared Padalecki or Jensen Ackles as Eddie Brock would be best
The funny thing about this: Daran Norris (Cosmo from Fairly OddParents, Aragorn from Surreal Software's LOTR game) and Dee Bradley Baker voice most of the bosses. Of course, the late Efrem Zimbalist Jr. is the voice of Doc Ock

the reason this game is so classic is because it has the best spidey villains in it , venom , carnage , mysterio AND doc oc ? (rhino and scorpion not so much) and the plot made sense in this game ....great gameplay for its time .. so classic

Was born in 04 and played this a fair amount on my ps2 thanks to backwards compatibility.
Insomniac should remake this storyline and include it as a sequel to their current Spider-Man game.

Pretty much every boss fight in this game is iconic for me with awesome soundtrack.

The story and voice acting were top notch. Pretty impressive for a game based off a cartoon to have the same feel as it's source but do it's own thing
It clearly wasn’t based off the animated series.
Doctor Carnage is legitimately scary. Like, the fact that all you can do is run and the noises he makes makes it pretty intimidating

Base Skyrim is just too linear for me. Got very boring very quickly. Fallout New Vegas on the other hand. I can play the vanilla game for years and never get bored

Carnage is actually RIDICULOUSLY easy to beat; just knock him into the sonic bubble and when it's about to turn off, shoot some webbing at him to hold him in place until it turns back on.
Rinse and repeat and he's down in under 2 minutes

MGS1 is the best for that. Many hours of somewhat serious storyline featuring eyeless people talking by bobbing their heads and not opening their mouths.
I had a piano concert in italy, i was 8 years old, and my father saw my sad eyes, when i saw this playsation 1 with one free game, and i chose this one :))
We didn t have at the time playsation 1.
I finished the game in one day, for a novice, that really is saying something how much JOY i had in me, then i went and played, won first place :))))).

I have the demo version I got in 2002 from a cereal box then I bought the real game. Loved it. I’d still play it if I could.

That’s the NEW one. The real old mysterio did special effects , illusions, and mechanical robots and such.

@Wafflest Waffle One thing strange in this game's universe is that even though they're both symbiotes, it's only Venom whom you could beat with fists whereas you would need to push Carnage in a sonic bubble just to hurt him.

Trip down nostalgia lane, despite being limited by the graphics of its time, it's amazing how endearing and iconic the characters are. Loved all the boss fights. And the voicework, especially for Venom still beats other iterations we've had today.

However he is also my favorite villain. But at the e d of the day I always pull for Spider-Man. What can I say I’m a good guy kind of person.
