I like how every everyone has their own unique looks and features that separate them from each other instead of having mutilated bodies with the same type of injuries, and the songs really add depth to their character, this is probably the best fan made triple trouble track I’ve ever seen.

Eggman looks happy, adorable, and 400% less threatening than in the games. I saw the glasses and circle on his torso as a smiley face and his actual head as a hat and cannot unsee it that's why.
Something I do really like about all the characters is that they're alot more varied from one another, unlike the normal triple trouble versions, who all have fairly similar forms of dismemberment and such. All of these feel much more unique from eachother. I also noticed this about the designs, and I don't know if this was intentional or not. But the designs seem to have a very big thing on mouth and teeth horror, aside from Robotnik, they all have mouth and teeth as key parts if them. Tails has teeth in the gaping hole in his face, Knuckles having a mouth on his stomach, and Sonic's only real remaining facial feature being his grinning mouth. Which I like alot and think it still ties them all together without looking too samey like the OG Triple Trouble.

No, you aren't mistaken at all- at a lot of points you can pretty clearly hear the Mother 3 guitar, I think I heard Earthbound's Overdrive (Megalovania) Guitar too amidst the 16-Bit Mega Drive sounds

My guess is that his head represents a cracked egg and his torso is supposed to portray one big eye with Robotnik's iconic, and way too small, glasses placed over them. His body color may only be supposed to portray a shadow as to make Robotnik more unique to Sonic, Tails and Knuckles.

If I were to make lore, is that instead of Xenophane using Sonic's friends as extensions of their power, they just gave them a bit and said "go wild", and *my god they did-* Tails' design is basically the same thing but without any injuries, but the fact they look so much feral-like and out there to kill you makes him seem like the most driven out of instinct, force-of-nature kind of stuff, and gosh do I like it. Knuckles' design is good looking due to having the spirit of the mangled-like structure like the previous designs in the OG Triple Trouble, but it looks more different. The singular eye and the gaping maw makes me think that, while Knuckles may be driven by instinct to some extent, he tries his best to look scary (and while I'm not really scared by creepypasta designs anymore, gotta appreciate his effort). And now, we get to the most EGGsellent design, Eggman just feels like something you'd see in a Kirby game, eye bursting out of their chest, monochrome color pallete, ominous appearance; all you need is to make him *slightly* cuter and rounder. But other than that, he looks like the smartest out of the three, and of course he is! HE'S THE E. G. G. M. A. N. ! I like to think that in this storyline, Xenophane has pushed BF to insanity and even suicide. But BF is forced to persist and try to beat Xenophane because of his code forcing him to retry in an infinite cycle. Tails has a similar story to his EXE counterpart except for the fact that he was repeatedly mutilated and had his soul taken. He and Knuckles are puppets that have no control unlike their EXE counterparts. Knuckles continued to trash talk and threaten Xenophane, not knowing how much of a threat he was, so his vocal cords were removed which is why he has such a hoarse voice. Eggman had his dignity, identity, and reputation ripped from him. He is a nobody. He is no longer in the spotlight. Xenophane has broken him and that alone is almost enough torture for Robotnik. His second addition to his torture is being forced to laugh every second of everyday. He can't stop, he can't control it. Eggman still holds that small amount of control, but it only makes his torture worse. Xenophane is literally a god in this case. He didn't play with his victims until after he was sure they were in his possession. He doesn't have to hold the form of sonic anymore, but he does just so everyone has to look at that figure, the one that took over and ruined everyone's lives.
It seems less like Sonic.exe is a master over three enslaved souls and more like Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Eggman have always been this way, and are just a bunch of creepy dudes who are friends with each other

I like to think that in this storyline, Xenophane has pushed BF to insanity and even suicide. But BF is forced to persist and try to beat Xenophane because of his code forcing him to retry in an infinite cycle. Tails has a similar story to his EXE counterpart except for the fact that he was repeatedly mutilated and had his soul taken. He and Knuckles are puppets that have no control unlike their EXE counterparts. Knuckles continued to trash talk and threaten Xenophane, not knowing how much of a threat he was, so his vocal cords were removed which is why he has such a hoarse voice. Eggman had his dignity, identity, and reputation ripped from him. He is a nobody. He is no longer in the spotlight. Xenophane has broken him and that alone is almost enough torture for Robotnik. His second addition to his torture is being forced to laugh every second of everyday. He can't stop, he can't control it. Eggman still holds that small amount of control, but it only makes his torture worse. Xenophane is literally a god in this case. He didn't play with his victims until after he was sure they were in his possession. He doesn't have to hold the form of sonic anymore, but he does just so everyone has to look at that figure, the one that took over and ruined everyone's lives.
