Overall, the response in viewership is not great, so if we do other series like this we would do them in a different format. As you can imagine, a lot of time and money goes into producing something like this, and if the response is not good, it is hard to justify more money and time into the same format that is not performing well
@@gentlemansgazette It's understandable but if possible I'd like to see, maybe in a more concise format, a video(s) about the process of making bespoke suits too.
@@gentlemansgazette yeah i noticed its very unfortunate! because you can tell you put in work on this series aaaaahwelll atleast your passionate gentlemans gazette viewers will learn something from this!!
I work for Crockett&Jones and I am an under trimmer. On this pare of shoes the lining was sewn to the upper then trimmed by hand, at Crockett&Jones we rarely trim by hand we use a machine much like the one seen in this video however our machines have a knife that comes down under the lining to give a clean and precise cut ensuring it is even all the way around
I really love this series - there are a lot of things that I do and almost equally the same amount of thing I don't because, while also being a bespoke shoemaker, I'm an *orthopaedic* shoemaker so it's more about the medicinal fit and therapeutical effect and beauty at a distant second. 😅 It's really great to see a master work without these limits! Best regards Raoul G. Kunz
I want to see a series of the same attention to detail about the bespoke suiting process next. I find it supremely interesting to see the precise level of quality and attention to detail that goes into a bespoke garment. I am aware such a series has a pretty high cost but it would be extremely interesting.
The whole process of shoemaking and shoe repair fascinates me. Thank you!
Have a wonderful week!

I am really enjoyng this series. Each episode describes the process in fine detail. Hope there are more series like this in the works.

Amara is the Goddess! Thanks for introducing her! Really appreciated the craft of making shoes 👞 Thanks Sir!! You’re the Best!! 😊🎃
Such a beautiful and elegant looking shoe!
Genuine handmade shoes!! Genuinely enjoyable!
As always, very good content. Would love to see a worth it episode of Jacob Cohen jeans. I love them but what do Gentleman's Gazette have to say?
Is it worth it is more for popular well known items. Cohen Jeans does not have that mass appeal...
Very interesting series, I must ask tho. Will the gentalmen’s gazette make a video on alligator shoes.
Merci beaucoup !
What brand is your yellow polo Raphael? Excellent content as always gents!
It's a company that is now out of business...
@@gentlemansgazette Thanks for clarifying. What a shame though. Any other brands you'd recommend though for a yellow polo? Excellent videos!
So did the shoes fit or is it on eBay?
Somehow I can picture every German person going "so where was this machine made? - Germany - AH yes... quality!"
lol😂
