I've had things maxed for a while.. this is just further progression.. yes, expensive in sense of resources but something to do vs nothing. Class ascend passives make some golds usable now.
This update is the reason why I quit. Like you I have been playing for a long time and this update I had to call it. I don't physically have the time to grind for all the characters to ascend them all over again. (I had 12 7* legendaries. No way I am grinding for all of them and rest all over again)
Yep. Players have a decision to make. Most characters suck and have no need to ascend. It’s the legendary characters that will be so hard to fully max.
This update has been a passion for players to continue, due to the difficulty of unlocking stars for characters and then developing them into purple requires a lot of shards.👎💔

Gonna be an even bigger gap between P2W and F2P and completely understand the frustrations people will have. Ill still grind though
