Im starting this august 1st. When i get to jan. Shall i use the top row for 2024 until august. Then slide down to second row..... Or i can stsrt 2024 on the second row and put 2029 at top row until august
I never even would have thought to do something like this if it were not for your video. I just ordered one and I am excited to give it a try. Do you think that the pages are strong enough to hold a stamped image if I should choose not to make a handwritten entry on every single day. I thought a little artwork in between might be a good option. Thank you for the video.
Thanks Karen! It has been a fun journal to fill so far. I have used stamps in this one and it depends on the ink whether it will show through on the other side of the page. I usually use Ranger Archival Inks as they are permanent oil based inks. I mainly use light colours, but I have used black on occasion and the show through was minimal. The ink pad was a very well used pad though (ie: not very juicy), so that works well for this purpose. I could still write on the other side. If you do use an ink pad that does show through on the other side so much that you can't write over it, I'd either stick down some paper to write on in that section, or use washi tape! :)
I'm into my 4th year in my book. I started April 2, 2021, just because it's pre-dated starting Jan. 1st, I would encourage to start whenever you like. (I dolled up the blank days leading up with washi, etc.) Think my next 5-year journal will be a Hobonichi, I'm not thrilled about the quality of the paper in these Leuchtturm1917's.
My exact problem. I'm starting June 3rd (when mine arrives in the mail). When you began yours, did you start at the top line? And once you got to the second full year, did you skip the top line from Jan 1-April 1 so that the years lined up? I'm trying to conceptualize how this would look and how I want to go about this. Thank you.
