Nice Work Abhishek. I have done it in tableau. Now same data set I using to create dash board in power BI at 18.25 how to create to and from (Make point) in power BI .
After creating a route split, When we insert Route 2 into columns, Why is it still showing SFO, Since SFO is the starting Point and hence it should only be showing Ending point as it's a totally different column. I am trying this way in order to eliminate the use of calculated field
Nice work..just wanted to know that after the last few edits shown the data still did not display the longest route from SFO i.e. SFO-BLR which lead to a change in the "Top 5 Average distance from San Francisco" section in the dashboard..
Another question, sir: how do I change orientation of the Dashboard? Yours is horizontal, I have vertical. I checked Layout for that in the Dashboard pan, but can't find it.
There's other question, and I'd be happy if somebody could advice on that. My "Day of Date" didn't convert to March, 6th, even though I seem to apply all the filters and Individual date correctly...

what frustrates me the most as a Tableau novice is the fact that they are changing button location / options on drop out menu, and I am not able to find them if Tableau versions change over time. Such, 3:51 I am struggling finding "split" option (just updated Tableau to the newest version)
Everything seems alright, but there is no WHY's for what you are doing. You are just doing it. Like you mentioned we need to create a calculated field but nowhere have I heard why do we need to make the same. For Eg. You created a grouped route, but why??? you used makepoint, but what does that mean and why do we need to use it. otherwise great effort overall.
Big Problem with people in the Education community trying to teach Analytics ! , they tell you what to do but don't explain the thought process behind why they are doing what their doing and that's why these channels hit a subscriber limit fast ... PEOPLE NEED TO UNDERSTAND WHY YOU ARE DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING !
The concept explanation is very less and the video is too fast, seems like someone is teaching himself, although the project is nice and good. Keep uploading but take care of particular things, explanation is important.

When creating the map there must be average of distance rather than sum of distance in the details

Hi, I just have one question. What did you mean to do when you said " IF Route - 1 = 'SFO' THEN Route - 2 ELSE Route - 1" ?
basically SFO is the san Francisco airport we have to check except that which airport is occurring the most

Found it! "In the Data pane, right-click the field you want to split, and then select Transform > Split.". Some of a detour :)
