So the multi-summon isn't a bug, it's just a cool logical step that I'm surprised they coded correctly.
Discover a friendly minion (Oblivitron) AND trigger it's Deathrattle (Summon a Mech from hand (LUCKY it picked "itsself," Oblivitron) and trigger it's Deathrattle (Summon a Mech from hand (the Welp) and trigger it's deathrattle (7/7))).
I'm super surprised they actually got it right there
I figured it out pretty quickly and was "WHAT ?! THEY DID IT WORK PERFECTLY"
Apparently it doesn't trigger the deathrattle until it hits the board. Nice
It's not surprising that they coded it correctly, but it is a little non-obvious, because it says "Also trigger its Deathrattle" not "Then trigger..."

Yeah the way nine lives must be coded is u discover the friendly minion that had died that game then it goes to ur hand and then the death rattle triggers so if it triggers oblivatrons death rattle it could pull out oblivatron and then activates it’s death rattle again

EASY WAY TO UNDERSTAND THAT NINE LIVES OBLIVY INTERACTION:
nine lives and oblivitron have something in common, they're both deathrattle triggers, the difference is that nine lives adds the deathrattle minion to your hand while oblivitron takes it out of your hand
so when you nine lives the oblivy, it goes to your hand and it's deathrattle triggers
but here's the thing: oblivy's deathrattle is also a deathrattle trigger, so basically nine lives triggered a trigger
Hi, Thijs now im back after a big break with HS and i do not have cards form current meta expansions, heres my question is it worth to create this deck because its looking kinda budget but i dont know if it works nowdays. What deck would you recomend? I have ablut 7k of dust to spare on cards.

Jackson Baugham oblivitron has high potential going into future expansions. If you have the dust it’s worth the craft.

Maybe not necessary, but very powerful. Especially when you're pulling whelps onto the boards. Or oblivitron. Or spider bomb....

To force the mage to use heropower to kill it - means the mage cant use these 2 mana to play a card/minion.

Hey guys I wanna play a mech deck. I ve mech hunter or mech paladin in my mind. If I craft mech hunter I cant craft shaw. If mech paladin I cant craft trion because of dust. I got keeper stalladris from free packs but I dont want to play token druid because Im done with aggro face decks. What do u guys think should I craft one of these decks?
Mech pally is more face/tempo than (this version of) mech hunter.
I like the mechanic of prismatic lensing out cheap minions of mech pally, but I also like the oblivitron mechanic so that’s similar.
If you look at certain legendaries, then mech hunter has more widely used legendaries. (Zul’jin & Shaw are and will be much more played than Rhyssa and Kangor’s army, although both have the very useful Ziliax.) If you go for mech pally, I would advise to get Tirion over Rhyssa, it’s more fun personally and Tirion is one of the best 8 drops in the game.
If you look at overlap between decks. Mech pally has many cards of secret pally which is aggro. Mech hunter has many cards of spell hunter which is more combo based right now (with fun spell damage legendary) but spell hunter will still be expensive.
Overal, I’ll choose mech hunter. Mech pally has very little rush/ minions that interact with opponent board and few ways to comeback but the deck can create some really big magnetics which is fun. Mech hunter can have some insane comebacks, notably Zul’jin, which is even more fun. Remember that both decks will suffer a bit without Rhyssa/Tirion or Shaw, it may be hard to maintain 50%+ winrate in high ranks.

Cuz oblivtrons deathrattle triggers deathrattles of mechs that are summoned which triggered its own and then the whelp in the same order
Nine Lives: "Discover Oblivitron" --> add to hand.
ALSO Nine Lives: "Trigger it's Deathrattle" = summon random Mech (Oblivitron's Deathrattle summons itself) AND trigger ITS Deathrattle = summon Mechanical Whelp and summon 7/7 Mech.
