some might disagree but of all the HBCU bands I've seen I think Norfolk is the best. FAMU and BCU is just a little under them. They have good balance, not too loud, and focus on accuracy and precision. Great job NSU.
I marched in the Legion with the announcer Sean, DJ Kustom, what ever you all call him. He was a loud, ghetto, obnoxious, crass, classless person back then. I was completely floored when I heard he got the job as the next band announcer. Giving him a microphone was complete and utter mistake.
Show design, show design, show design! Fantastic. "Hate On Me" would have done very well as a closing *hint* *hint* The Legion sounds great as usual. As for the announcer, he's always been loud and over the top he defintely takes away from the show and everyone knows it, probably even him, but I digress. People were running on the band sites talking about how the Legion fizzled in their second Honda appearance...not so, they were still one of the best sounding and entertaining groups there.
What happened to the old announcer??? He gave the show more class. I remember earlier this year, the new guy told us to get crunk, but NSU was playing Green and Gold Cabriolet. If yall can mute his mic, the show would be alot better.

I always wanted someone to make a SWAC MEAC all star band...but after I discovered NSU I never had that dream again.

that is because when we play we point our bells up into the stands at a diagnal. thats probably why it didnt sound the same.

One question though. Who were the people that came onto the field with Hot Ice? For all his hoopla I couldn't hear their introduction.
