Fascinating. I was especially interested in the historic homes section.

The real estate agent told me that with any home or condo having numerous sales on that home proves that the home has passed inspection and a red flag is having only one owner. I've been trying to buy for 5 years now and can't find anything affordable

Every time a home or condo is on the market, getting an inspection is HIGHLY suggested ! Just because the home only had one owner isn’t a red flag. Typically homeowners stay in a home for 10 years. I know many that have owned for over 20 years. Maybe look in more affordable areas to purchase?

@susievidal4134 bullshit. I bought my home brand new semi custom built and sold it 16 years later in great condition with a new roof and fixed every item found on the inspection. The owner texts me and we keep in touch. It was a great buy for him.

Not everyone wants open floor plan.

True...though most still prefer it. But there are so many different options - you will have choices :).

Agreed. Open floor plans are cheaper to build.

Happy New Year and its cheaper to rent than buy rent is average of 2800 versus 4k a month for a house here in California and nee construction usually offer great incentives and lower interest rate

Hey hey hey hey hey hey hey... Watch what you say young lady, I put a new roof on top of an old roof.. LoL I don't need any lip service about what I did, I'm alone trying to work the roof so I had no choice so spare me the lip service.... LoL ❤ the good news is that I don't plan to sell the house ever

Never buy a home from an investor.

You need to be cautious with these homes to ensure they’re not just a “lipstick on a pig” listing. While not all fall into this category, some definitely do.
