That back line of himself, Trinh-Duc, Rougerie, Heymans and Maxime Medard was amazing, pace to burn, great handling and sharp defence. I loved watching him in action.
Looking at this video and seeing with whom he was playing, I still can't believe (and arguably regret) that France has no RWC title. Also, you choose amazing players for your videos. Keep making this amazing work
@@EllliotJackRussel1 Yeah, say all you want about Joubert, but if Tonga hadn't had to throw the game against Canada because of a short turnaround, France wouldn't have made it through to the quarterfinals. So, you know, it kinda was justice as we saw the real difference between France and NZ in the pool stages. No way France was the best team in the world (fucking far from it) in 2011. And I'm French.
@@thomas_corbet you're right, the ABs were the best team of the tournament but on that day, in the final, the ref made sure France would not have any chance to win it. I'm not saying that all the penalties overlooked would have been converted and the match won by France. The 2 team were just refereed differently. It was a one sided affair. Joubert also acted poorly in a game with Scottland in the 2015 rwc when at the end of the match he ran off the pitch after a final mistake which coast them the match (and a semi-final or a final, i do not remember exactly). He retired shortly after i reckon.
Great player great video I would love a video next on the the club world cup there thinking of introducing but I know the sanzaar footage thing might be a problem with that but I acknowledge that but it does not have to have the footage though If you can make a video of some sort about it Andrew
i just have a question which is motivated by the fact i'm a french fan : i would have british advices on the current french players so don't hezitate to give your mind on one or one other of the french players because i have no idea of their mediatisation in the british speaking world thanks a lot
i kind of miss the days of having clerc, medard, heymans, poitrenaud & rougerie running the french back line. they were experienced & i think played well together. Some of my all time favourite players actually even though they're french lol. Loving dupont and ntamack and damian penaud is an absolute rocket. Looking bright for france!
The current French team is very highly rated in the UK right now, especially after the Six Nations. Dupont and Ntamack get a lot of praise, but for me, Ollivon and Alldritt don't receive the kind of praise they deserve, they're both brilliant.
@@thaddeemestrallet2911 bro i love the old french forwards; szarzewski, kayser, betsen, chabal, ibanez. think the current lot have a bit of catching up to do
He ´s just a legend of french and international rugby. The best winger of france history
Absolutely superb.
One of the greatest wingers of all time. Unbelievable finishing ability.

This dude was from another planet ...
The most complete winger in rugby for me (He's the one who made me love rugby!)
Title Should read - "Irelands Nemesis"
He figured in some of best XV compiled by former players at Six Nations official site, to get the idea of how good he was according to opponents.

They were robbed in the 2011 final, would of beaten new Zealand if it wasn't for the ref failing to penalise the all blacks
we won in 2011 to eveyones eyes there just was a southern hémisphère ref and he did what he had to do
@@BooshisLoose1 Yes they were robbed by a ref named JOUBERT (note the irony) but anyway they lost 2 games at RWC11

Jauzion tribute please!
Record holder of tries in top 14. 101 to be exact. Not bad... and a more than decent international career.
Please may we have a greatest forwards tackles tributes
Do one on Sebastian chabal or Jason robinson
France’s Chelsie Kobe
First...also great vid!
So fast .... didn’t escape Joe Worsleys tap tackle in 07
Sure... But he would've scored where Cueto was pushed out ;)
