    • @englishguruamansir
      @englishguruamansir  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dear child
      No preposition is used in between a transitive verb and an object.
      So the correct sentence is......
      I ate food.

    • @dktyagi80
      @dktyagi80 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@englishguruamansir you told in the video of --at --preposition that we can use at after transitive verb for unsuccessful attempt.

    • @englishguruamansir
      @englishguruamansir  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes,
      But there must be a logic behind what you say.
      Look
      There can never happen an action of eating without performing it. And if you mention that you ate, it means you perfomed the action of eating , if you performed the action of eating, it means you ate something, and if you ate something, it never remained an unsuccessful attempt.
      I hope you have got point now.

    Why is not at morning and at evening for general topic why always in the morning

    • @englishguruamansir
      @englishguruamansir  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry for the delayed response!
      I don't know how i missed your query but never mind here is the answer.
      The use of "in the morning" and "in the evening" is a matter of idiomatic expression in English. These phrases have become conventional and are widely accepted in the language.
      "In the morning" and "in the evening" are used to refer to specific times during the day, and they have become the standard way of expressing these time periods. For example:
      - "I like to drink coffee in the morning."
      - "We'll meet in the evening."
      Using "at morning" or "at evening" would sound unusual and incorrect to native English speakers. "At" is typically used for more specific points in time, like "at 2 PM" or "at midnight," rather than broader time periods like mornings and evenings.
      Languages often have their own idiomatic expressions and rules, and English is no exception. The usage of "in the morning" and "in the evening" has simply become the established norm for referring to those time periods.

      Dead kaise agya

    • @englishguruamansir
      @englishguruamansir  ปีที่แล้ว

      Dear Ankur
      The sentence "He shot him dead" is a simple sentence consisting of three words.
      Subject: "He" - the person performing the action
      Verb: "shot" - the action performed
      Object: "him" - the recipient of the action
      Adjective: "dead" - describing the state of the object "him"
      Syntactically, the sentence follows the pattern of subject-verb-object. Semantically, it conveys a clear message of a past event in which the subject (he) performed the action of shooting the object (him), resulting in the object being in the state of being dead.
