They probably took it out because they changed the order of the scenes in that portion of the movie. In the Editor's Cut, MJ breaks up with Peter, Peter is in his apartment looking angry (you know the scene that comes after the restaurant scene with Peter and Harry in the Theatrical Version), Peter puts on his Black Suit and see the fake picture Eddie made, gets Eddie fired, swings away from the Daily Bugle (which is where the scene of him swinging in Daylight with the Black Suit came from), takes off the Black Suit (new scene), talks to Harry in the restaurant, puts his Black Suit back on and fights Harry, then you have the infamous strutting scene.
