I’m a supervisor of a pub and whenever I see someone ask for a non alcoholic drink I always pour it like it’s the alcoholic one or I ask them if they want a glass or ice etc… make them feel like their still having a good time or least involved with everyone else and not feeling like their an outcast.

Did he just say a private school isn’t better than a public school educationally? Maybe not with the best public schools but with the average one, a private school is better. The main reason they do better is because their discipline and education they get from school, family and peers translates to work. All built around the school. Network helps yeah but if you can’t do the job you won’t last long
I know lads who went to blackrock college who failed classes in leaving cert and had worse behaviour than lads I seen go to average mixed schools, it all depends on the family not the education, if you’re raising your child right and preparing them to represent your family in the real world and work hard they will do well in life, however the only benefit from these private schools I won’t disagree on is the name of the school and reputation it gives, employers will be quicker to hire someone from a private school background because they more than likely went to one themselves or their friends son is looking for a job they will hire him quicker because they know if they do favours they will receive favours. Private schooling is bullshit and does not help discipline your child if you don’t do it yourself
@@joshmasterson2008 I'm not talking about corporal punishment but I see your point. I'm talking about the ethos, values and working discipline you get from your teachers and peers in school. There's definitely a big difference there. Also the quality of education, spoken and written communication. People who deny this, I don't understand just because there's some misbehaved boys from Blackrock?
