    Honestly.. if that was me and I needed to get carried out of such a spot, I would be wishing for Jeremy to be on shift, lol.

    My mom would’ve made me walk back up and then we would’ve drove to the hospital😂🤦🏻‍♂️

      When I broke my leg in an even more inaccessible area my mum told me to make my own way to somewhere I could be picked up 😭😅 so I had to get a local farmer to help me in his tractor

    I'll tell anyone walking in slippery sand in heavy boots and carrying something or someone isn't easy. In high school west coast aka California we had a sand hill we had to run up and down. Part of the gym class ugh! So God bless them all. Hugs

    It’s her own fault for wearing flip-flops.

      I've been going down to that beach my whole life, she's clearly a first timer. It is a really dangerous path and wearing flip flops is really stupid. I berate anyone who tries going down with deck chairs and cool boxes; I've seen so many close calls.

    I had a friend who fell off a waterfall...and had an open fracture to his arm, and a large cut to his thigh such that the femur was visible...he walked two hours and then drove two hours to get to hospital....

    Why the f*** would you try to walk the coastal path in flipflops?!?!? That's just courting disaster. If you do something like that in the Alps - go mountain-climbing without the appropriate gear and get into trouble - insurance might not cover it and you'll be the one paying for your own rescue.

      strong independent woman don't need boots while hiking on cliffs they just wear cheap flip flops

    • @Stratus41298

      Seriously though. I would've hobbled walked with help at least to the top. Gimmie a break.

    • @Fr0styIsHere
      @Fr0styIsHere 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don’t know the extent of the break, and as you can see by how hard it was to reach her and get her back up it isn’t an easy path already.

    • @ceasarsalad119
      @ceasarsalad119 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know, I think the ambulance was justified. Imagine if this was winter and it's going dark. If you can't get moving you could die from hypothermia.

  • @mufferm5980

    Gross misallocation of valuable resources for a broken ankle

    • @ceasarsalad119
      @ceasarsalad119 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Why do people say this. You can die from a broken ankle if you can't walk and it goes dark/cold. I thought a broken ankle is what you WOULD need the ambulance for.

  • @Stratus41298
    @Stratus41298 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    All that for a broken ankle. Air ride? Okay fine. Don't tell me you couldn't at least hobble walk to the top though. Full extrication for that is just silly.

      The stretcher alone is upwards of 200lbs (not this kind). Not including everything we need for patient care+ the patient. Almost every medic I know has a heavy work out regime. I’m training for EMS so I haven’t gotten that far but almost everyone works out hella hard bc we have to carry so much
