It's very good information about Medical studies in USA... rAjA garu.

IMGs can only apply to some specialities. Konni specialities match avvadam next to impossible such as dermatology. Most of the IMGs get into internal medicine, family medicine, neurology, pathology, radiology, obg/ gyn, psychiatry. The preference goes to US MD, US DO, US IMG (meaning citizens of US who studied abroad), Non-US IMG ( non- citizens of america, who studied medicine abroad). You can only practice medicine here in the US , if you do a residency here in the US. Even if you have done PG back in India or home country, you have to repeat your residency to practice here in the USA. Thank you once again anna for the information you give us in telugu.
