Arrows are projectiles, so they ignore spikes, meaning that the curse of spikes is a non-issue for you. But it's probably not a good idea to let poison stack up, unless you have that Venom Sword. Also, don't mistake the Speedy Leaf for a herb.

Yes this! Because it's a vampire build, just take the curse damage instead of the curse, and heal immediately next turn. That way the poison doesn't stack a permanent deduction to your healing capabilities.

The fun thing about the d6 item to reroll rewards is that you can take it and use it immediately and it'll reroll everything and give you your 3 choices back. (This may be a bug and not a feature).

Yo Retro, just won my first run of Backpack hero and I think its a build that, if you are lucky to get, would make an amazing video. Basically, you depend on two boss drops and a good shield: Stopwatch, which increases the damage of all weapons by +1each time they're used this combat & Shield spirit which allows you to use all adjacent weapons to a shield but reduce their damage by -1 each time they're used this combat. This build can get wacky fast if you get a chipped sword and/or vapric weapons

Mouse Wood can be pretty good but it is such a difficult item to build around that you leave basically no room for other items and have to reduce the space bonus to your arrows but having to space them out from the bow and each other. I've won runs with it but it's arguably not worth the drawbacks. Also, you should always get as many consumables as possible from the after battle rewards, even if they're clogging up your inventory and messing with your bonuses/relics, you can always just use them at the start of the next fight.

Rage is really powerful with the berserker's club. You can go true endless with that.

When u had your 2 bows, if u turn your arrow and puti them at the other side of the backpack, can't u use them with the longbow above?

If you add burn or poison to the berserker club and get regen up enough to cover the self damage, wouldn't that be infinite burn and/or poison?

also everytime it is useed it does more dmg to self
so coudn't be infinite because each turn you are just increasing the amount of times you can use it for free
