This quality of road now needs to go past Mazabuka (especially that stretch to Monze) and get all the way to Zimba at least and even become a dual carriageway all the way to Livingstone.
I am torn on this. I would love it if our country had access to the ocean, and we would not need to use the ports of other people. That being said, can we invest in our roads so that we make money from the traffic that will explode in the next few years. Perhaps we can turn the tables around by making Zambia the transport hub in Southern Africa. Oil rich Angola has 35 million people who could access Tanzania and South Africa through our roads. Soon to be oil rich South Africa stands to gain from expanded traffic with Malawi, DRC, Kenya, Uganda and even Egypt, by using our road and rail network. It is imperative therefore that we invest in heavy duty, good quality roads. The traffic on these roads will need truck stops, motels, restaurants. This is indirect tourism that could be beneficial to us.
I have not been to this part of our country for quite awhile now but I'm glad that the road has been worked on thanks for the upload bro
@Charles Mumba thank you so much bro for your support on this channel. The road is indeed one of the best road in Zambia
