I agree with this list. My least favorite has been Mike... He started as basically the main character and is the heart of the group but he's gotten moody and angry recently and while he seemed to come into his own a bit (seemingly after meeting Eddie and stepping out from under his parents) he, along with Will (and maybe even Jonathan) were so misused in season 4. Many have said they see him as closeted bi and actually also in love with Will along with El and that's why and if that is true and it pays off in 5 then the arc will make sense and will become a fave but idk, fingers crossed the Duffers will pull it out in the end.

I agree with most of this list. I think Will should have been on this list. I think he will get even deeper in season 5. Steve was number one for the first three seasons, but I don't think season four did much to push him forward. I have a love/hate relationship with Mike because of how poorly he treats Will. But, if it turns out that Mike is in the closet and is able to come to terms with his sexuality, he could potentially be one of the best written characters in all of television. And, I think Chrissy was also very compelling. To have one episode, and ten minutes of screen time, the audience was able to get so much of her background. It's crazy that she's such a small character, because her death sets up the events for the entire season.
Hot take but I hope Nancy and Jonathan don't break up bc in my opinion season 4 is the only season that Jonathan is a bad character so I hope they don't break up
Maybe this is just me but Max’s story just hits different for me. She had a great relationship with her mom and dad only for them to divorce and she was forced to move away from her dad and start a whole new life with an asshole stepdad and a horrible step brother. Who verbally and maybe physically hurt her. So bad that she actually prayed for him dead. And when he does die, she realizes how messed up it was for her to even think it. She puts all the blame on herself and pushes away the people closest to her. And the guilt eat away at her so much she feels like even she doesn’t deserve to live. Sorry if this is going way too in depth, but it’s just so fascinating how her story is written. Hopefully she gets a good ending next season 👏
Even if max didn’t die for a minute wouldn’t Eddie count as Vecnas fourth kill anyways and u know how Steve says he wants six kids with Nancy he kind of already does with Dustin mike Lucas will el and max all being his kids all he needs is I for Nancy to dump Jonathan then his dream will come true
Technically no, Eddie was killed by the demobats. Everything in the upside down (aside from Vecna) is controlled by the mind flayer. So Eddie was the mind flayer’s kill not Eddie.
