Why would you remove the wrap without applying heat to it. When removing wrap you should always heat it. This video gives the wrong impression of the material

Take the wrap off when it’s hot, as it’s meant to be, and you won’t have any residue.

You have to heat it up but you must pull at the correct angle, not straight up in the air. I've been installing wraps for 22 years and have removed the worst vinyl from 20 years ago recently. All I can say is do not try this at home after watching TH-cam, hire an installer that knows the deal. Wrapping is an art form as well as a skill, impossible to learn from TH-cam. You have to go through it to understand the right way. Nobody watches fine painting online and becomes a master oil painter.

You shouldn’t have any residue if you remove the wrap while it’s warm, it’s best to use a heat gun to warm up the wrap just a little bit before removing it

you will never have issues if it is wrapped over factory paint, only time it will potentially fuck up the paint is if its been repainted. some advise to viewers, is watch actual professional wrappers videos on wrap film

Looks like it’s not 3m 1080 and there a big possibility to damage the paint work on the car if some parts was re spray on the car you wrapping. Nothing to worry if the spray work is original. Glue is not a problem if you wrap and de-wrap your car with professional companies, they will remove it for you.

It's best if you get it done at a 3M authorized centre/garage.
