Who gives a damn what hat he's wearing the snap on guy doesn't the guy wearing it doesn't. It's people like you who think brand loyalty is so important
Clay I meet up with Kevin today and picked up that great truck tool set and a few other things thanks for the tool info you will have to ask him about the radio he got from me
I have the punch and chisel set in the holder on the lid of my box The string is a little weak but it is still very handy as there's no digging for what you want
Always a great selling point when the truck owner leads with the massive space now freed up by getting rid of the huge pile of warranty returns. Really fills you with confidence on the 'premium' brand LOL
That sucks that Kevin didn't get any pink if I was him the rep at strap on's phone would be blowing up are local truck had most of the pink stuff on the first I got to see the cloud nine box with all the tools in foam that was beautiful best day of the week Snap on Thursday 👍😎👍
I got that locking ratchet as a gift last year. I have personally not had a problem with the switch letting go on me. Even if I had the money I probably wouldn't buy the same ratchet for myself
I got one of the new locking head ratchet. honestly I hardly use it. it's built like a tank but I always find myself reaching for the gear wrench locking
I just got the one with the flex head that don't lock. The 3/8" head in the 1/4" ratchet. It's nice but I hate that non locking flex head. I personally like the matco ratchets better.
It took me a year before my CSM got inventory of the ACP needle nose. Took 7 months to get that 1/4" multi position ratchet I asked you about way back. CSM said he had to track down a Franchisee to get me it. If CSM you are the last to get inventory...
Clay, I had same problem with the screwdriver. I kept mine, but yes dumb design One other thing on the quarter turn ratchet screwdriver. The cap has a hex hole so you can put the bits in it and you have a stubby driver. Cheers
This is a damn good way to start my three day weekend! Love me some snap on tools. Just ordered me a 3/8 on a 1/4 body flex head ratchet and an extension! Was hoping to find a spring loaded u joint for them damn Subaru boxer engines. Them little things are aggravating sometimes haha
Does the trucks still have the hard handle ratchets for 3/8, or can they order them for you? I cant find them in their catalog or online but the industrial site has them, but only in a bundle and no color options.
Man i can't find the 33 pc general service set on the snap on website. I am wondering what the ticket is on that bad boy that is a perfect little pickup truck under the seat roadside kit!
I love my made in USA tools but those snap on flex head ratcheting box wrenches I have seen on torque test channel last week are incredibly staggeringly expensive
Clay is Lucky to have the best Snap-on Truck in the country along with a great Matco dealer and whatever happened to the MAC Tools dealer??? For awhile, the MAC Tools truck was big nice Loaded Truck with great deals.
The buy 3/8 and get the 1/4 is g 12:49 reat for a newer tech looking to upgrade his starter tools the door handle tool is for the GM vehicle haven't used it in years now everyone is using power windows today
Writer here... don't you have something to wrench on instead of bsing on the tool truck? Hyundai azera needs her shitbox back by 3!!!!!! Love these vids lmao keep it up
You can be like my dealer and edit the orders before they're finalized. If something is auto shipped to him that he didn't order, he just refuses it when it's delivered. He gets very little of this stuff dumped on him, which can be disappointing to some of us customers who watch all the videos from around the country...
Why, why, WHY do the tool companies insist on making these "essentials" kits with *both* fractional and metric??? I'd love one of these Snap-On kits in each of my cars, just in case, but I have zero use for fractional anything.
@KoonTrucking If I thought I would use even a handful of the fractional tools, I'd be all over them. But it just comes down to paying for something you don't need or won't use, which as a fellow mechanic/technician I am sure you have done many times in the past like the rest of us. I don't think it would be too difficult to make one fractional and one metric as well... perhaps they're measuring interest with the comprehensive sets before expanding the lineup. Guess we'll see.
MOST SNAP ON TRUCKS ARE WELL STOCKED TRY SOME OTHER BRAND TRUCK THEY HAVE NEXT TO NOTHING..YES IT'S PRICEY HE HAS IT WHEN YOU NEED IT TO GET THE JOB DONE AND OUT OF THE SHOP FOR THE NEXT JOB..NO WAITING FOR A TOOL TO BE ORDERED AND SHIPPED..
This is hands down the best take along tool kit $7,000 can buy
I like the fact that you climb up on a Snap-On truck with your VIM hat proudly worn. Zero efffs given.
Who gives a damn what hat he's wearing the snap on guy doesn't the guy wearing it doesn't. It's people like you who think brand loyalty is so important
@tannerpuhl you totally missed the point. I thought it was funny.
That’s what pays my bills and paying my bills pays the snap on bills.
@@KoonTrucking Keep on paying those Snappy bills!!! Love the content, love your dealers.
I wear my snap on hoodie on the Cornwell truck every time & the dealer sneak disses me every time 😂
I think it’s awesome that Kevin lets his daughter pick out the color of his contacts. He’s just being a dad.
I’ve been having mine like that for almost 15 years 10:37 ratcheting, screwdriver handle
Clay I meet up with Kevin today and picked up that great truck tool set and a few other things thanks for the tool info you will have to ask him about the radio he got from me
Just picked this set up a couple weeks ago as a mechanic with a pretty stacked box this is my go to grab the locking flex head is awesome
I got that 3/8 tool set. It is nice

Being we didn’t have a dealer for 5 years in his area and he’s got a huge route…. It says a lot for me to have them all handled that quickly.
An AWESOME SNAP-ON THURSDAY SHOW I AM so jealous though that you have an awesome Snap-on guy
I have seen that sign behind Kevin in person finally,a friend of my dad's whom buys junk cars to scrap has one
Hello again, Clay and Kevin
Thank you for another Great Video 👍 I enjoyed watching today's video. Again thank you 👌
That is one full truck and oh I do like that blue. 🔧🔧🔧🔧
I bought that set last year & it is a nice set. 2:29
Snap on Thursday one of my favorites before work.
Thanks again to Clay and Kevin !
A 159 tool an auto locksmith's best friend back in the day
I love the Snap On mini ratchet scewdriver
That window crank clip removal tool brought back some memories. Had to have it for my first truck-75 Chevy p/u.
That sucks that Kevin didn't get any pink if I was him the rep at strap on's phone would be blowing up are local truck had most of the pink stuff on the first I got to see the cloud nine box with all the tools in foam that was beautiful best day of the week Snap on Thursday 👍😎👍
Snap on needs to make a pair of pliers that will help disconnect a Deutch connector.
Great video 👍
Well done! A lot of new tools. Gives me great ideas too ask my dealer tomorrow morning.
I got that locking ratchet as a gift last year. I have personally not had a problem with the switch letting go on me. Even if I had the money I probably wouldn't buy the same ratchet for myself
Soooo….you don’t like it or you do?
@psfanboy79 I mean I like it. If I break it I'll warranty it, I intend to use it as long as I don't lose it. All I'm saying is it's a ratchet.
Now getting the two general service sets for the price of one is a lot more tolerable but god damn that’s still a lot of money.
Bad expensive
How much?
@@scottaddison8071 I think just the 1/4 inch drive set is $2400, but getting both is not as bad but still pretty bad.
I love my dealer but I wish his truck was this stocked.
Love the videos

Almost but I feel like you don’t have wrenches you do have a compete set if they added even double opened end to save space
Then you put vise grips back on there to roll up the windows
No pink tools on my dealers truck also
This is a damn good way to start my three day weekend! Love me some snap on tools. Just ordered me a 3/8 on a 1/4 body flex head ratchet and an extension! Was hoping to find a spring loaded u joint for them damn Subaru boxer engines. Them little things are aggravating sometimes haha
Check out the VIM spring loaded UJ
You should go over those carbon fiber sockets on Matco Friday been thinking about getting the breaker bar deal with wheel lug nut sockets
I’m about to build me out a handy man/service style truck. Gona start ordering a few snap on tools so I don’t have to raid my garage toolboxes lol
I love the Snap On 3/8 locking flex heads. I don't know why they don't use that design on all of there locking flex heads.
I can’t find it either
It maybe new and why it’s not on there but it having semi deep sockets in it makes it pretty dang awesome
@@KoonTrucking I am an indy dealer and i dont give a shit i want this lol! Those semi deeps were a fantastic idea!
That buy a 3/8 get 1/4, if it was just sae on both in 12 pt thats right up the aviation world
And if they were just metric in both I would've walked off the truck with both this week... Snap-On, are you listening?
Did Clay change shops ?
I have built a new shop at my house
I love my made in USA tools but those snap on flex head ratcheting box wrenches I have seen on torque test channel last week are incredibly staggeringly expensive
Clay is Lucky to have the best Snap-on Truck in the country along with a great Matco dealer and whatever happened to the MAC Tools dealer??? For awhile, the MAC Tools truck was big nice Loaded Truck with great deals.
You called him Michael “Mac daddy”??? Does he still run a truck route?
Black tools; nice to look at, suck to look for haha
Exactly

How is something like a Mr Biggs delivered?
They bring it on a truck then use a roll back to offload it onto off the truck then back the rollback in the shop and unload it there.
Did you get a new camera or are you fiddling with the settings? Those lights in the trucks are playing havok with the video.
I forgot to change the frame rate. Something about his lights is a different flicker rate than any other LED lights I’ve filmed in.
@@KoonTrucking yep, it sux when that happens and it is very hard to edit out.
Does your guy ship id gladly buy off his truck from south texas if he can ship it
No unfortunately they aren’t allowed to sell outside his route per franchise rules
@@KoonTrucking man that sucks ass seems like a cool guy appreciate yall fr 🙏🏽
What is part number item number for that travel set
We showed it in the video but it isn’t on there snap on site yet

Let me guess $1300??? 😅
It might be the perfect tool kit, but it’s $480 million
How much for that kit????😮
I think it was like $2800 to $3000 depending on your dealer. insane prices for that kit
My rep said if you didn’t order the pink at the show then you’re not getting it
I did order it at the tool show. So did my franchise brother's and none of us are getting any of the cancer stuff.
@@kevinchamblee-p9t man that sucks. My rep had a big shelf full. Funny car and all. Definitely sounds like they just didn’t make enough
That is the Jesus clip remover.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Why can't Snap-On make a good locking mechanism? Why make it easy to bump next to the direction switch?
I like the new design. I think it being flat like it is, it should work well
They just want you to buy both a non-locking flex head and a fixed 😂
Thus is one vid of why I couldn’t be a tool dealer. They just send u inventory u r responsible fur to sell that u didnt want. No thx.

You realize I do a weekly matco truck video as well that is always loaded down too right?
That flex head design is awful. I promise 90% of the time your gonna unlock it by accident. Bought one and traded it for another matco in a week.
