Nice list. I'm surprised you put Moonlight mvt. 3 above Pathetique 1st mvt. I don't know if it's me but I have a harder time playing Pathetique 1st mvt and making it sound good and having it flow smoothly compared to my Moonlight mvt 3.
@@mity1248 I know opinions are subjective, but they have made a genuine effort in phrasing, technique, and great musicality. I wouldn't call this amateur level, as a matter of fact its clear he's approaching a high level of profession. I've heard quite a lot of pianists on youtube, and this his FAR from ordinary.
@@kevinhuynh8752 no one is perfect but it is very good on an amateur level. If he dosent play on going professional that’s is pretty dang good. Nice playing but "level"/difficulty is a function of composition time. The earliest are the simplest and they progressively become more complex and technically harder. Nos 28-32 are the hardest (by far)
@pianista-mediocre Yes, I still think that Moonlight Sonata 3rd Movement is easier. Pathetique has a lot of tremolos, a hard and slow introduction, fast runs... Moonlight has fast arpeggios (which are easy), some wrist movement (found in Pathetique too), and octaves.
I’ve played op. 2 no. 1, and that didn’t sound quite right 😂
Did play the 4th movement
@@OneSetPiano No lol too hard 😭
i was so confused the entire time😭😭
Last level would probably be hammerklavier but overall accurate list
yeah, but I am not good enough to play Hammerklavier lol
@@evanding4732 you could just play the beginning which isn't that hard :D
@@santiagocaldeira7555 maybe...my hands are too small :( (maybe I will try some section in the middle idk)
Or 32, both are ridiculously hard
@@Numberonesorabjifani never found 32 that difficult
Bro the Op2 N1 you played it weird
the 4th movement of the 1st one tho imo is pretty fire 🔥
I’m learning that whole sonata rn it’s so good but soooo hard especially the fourth movement
@@fTripleSharpsame, learning it for ABRSM diploma, it’s pretty tough.
Sonata No 1 sounded jazzy now :D
You have a wrong note in fourth or fifth measure, its c, not b flat- op. 2 no 1

Yeah, everyone is different. For me moonlight is also easier overall than pathetique.
Hammerklavier leaves the chat
I HAMMER THE PIANO
maybe he doesn’t know how to play it
I suggest there are stronger sonatas as 30 to 32 and Hammerklavier...
A lot of missreadings here I think? Or atleast notes missing...
Really solid playing actually well done!
Tbh is isnt rlly good playing if we are trying to go professional. For amateurs, not bad

@@kevinhuynh8752 idk what you’ve heard then. He’s not bad, but the first sonata alone is lacking quite a lot tbh.
@@mity1248 how so? It obviously isn’t perfect but it’s very good!

small hands gang 💪💪💪

Level2: no 1/3

Pathetique sonata is harder then moonlight but pathetique is easier than f minor It kils me
I should put Beethoven's 8 on 3th place, then I should on 5th place Beethoven's 29, the most difficult of all sonatas
And yet you played the first worse than the other ones
The beginning of sonata op 2 no 1 in f minor sounds like the opening of Mozart’s Symphony 25…
🤔
did you finish pathetique? it’s definitely harder than moonlight

A bit too loose with time and note duration on Op13 no8

31 as your first sonata is actually insane wtf
I would suggest playing some easier sonatas before jumping into a pool of acid first
