- Heroes and hero usage are a very important part of State of Survival. They can heavily determine the outcome of battle. In this video, I decided to challenge myself to pick one hero (or more) every generation, which is the most usable for free to play players.
Joker is for sure one of the best heroes in State of Survival. But how should you threat heroes if you are free to play? In this video, we'll discuss the heroes you should prioritize within the gam starting from the very first heroes when you start a new game on State of Survival until the latest generation of heroes.

2:14 my heart kinda broke lol. When I first started playing and was new to everything, I loved the look of all those heroes, especially Basil with his tiger.
Check out the newer videos! They are more accurate. A lot of updates on the skills of the very young heroes :)

Peace and blessings. if you still play this game do you have videos showing how to upgrade to HQ 8? My game is stuck and cant figure out why. my game keeps saying i need to open march slots but i cant open slots until i reach vip level 8. As a new play just reaching vip 3 that seems a bit off as i been playing for a week. Any opinions??? gratitude

Emma is not a bad hero, I think. She’s in Rays if I remember correctly. So maybe worth upgrading anyways. Pretty decent hero for PVP, good in explore

Very average hero. Since she is in Ray’s you might upgrade her, but doesn’t really hold any value to me except to be resonated with Joker at gen 4 heroes!

Hey Valen! Thanks for your nice comment! Best hero to join towers with is Daryl. Rally lead should use the heroes that are best for the generation you’re on. Make sure to check Kratos’ spreadsheets for that info! Your second question: I think your opponent just puts another player up as lead, but the stats of the strongest player is still what counts when a rally is launched against you. Might be a little trap into tricking people to attack that tower 😂

I'm new to SoS. What are hero generations?
So Gen 3 is gonna come out in our state soon but many people are advising as a f2p to save up for gen 5 , would you say it is worth it to get ash and her frags and how many spins do ou think is worth , just the 120 for the milestones or all that I've got?

As a low spender Roxy do I need her as skills level 5 or general level 5? I am on G7 already but depends if I should go back and invest on her. I will be skipping G9 for sure, and try my best to max Hank. I remember when he came out he was crazy (still is)
If you can get her second skill to level 5 you’re good!

Nah, would still go for Roxy. Even on the wall, Roxy should outperform him. Luca is no bad hero tho, but Roxy is just superior for both att and def for both gen 5 and 6

State of Survival works with generations of heroes. Right now you are on gen 0, in a few weeks you’ll get gen 1 and so on!

I’m up to gen 10 in my state who should I use for underground? Currently using Mike/Maddie/Magnus? I found Hank kicked them too far away with his skill and got less points
Explorer wise? Try Luca/Miho/Magnus! Might perform a little better. Mike and Maddie are not bad choices :)
If you are playing wisely with Hank, than he do a great damage. I am F2P and on gen 10 heroes but still use Mike/Maddie/Hank. In this combination I always throw the pipe bomb somewhere near baricade and then when Hank kicks the enemy, he kick them just on the baricade. Try this :)
In fact, with the arrival of the behemoth, it doesn't have much function anymore...🤔
Is there any proof that troll squad buffs get useful for other generations? And why isn't ghost or Nicola etc mentioned as good joining hero captains? +25% health?
The 30% buffs get carried over to your general stats. Actual proof it’s worth it: depends on your own opinion, I guess you could also spend the money on aircraft parts to boost your stats there. Personal preference I would say. I specifically didn’t want to go for too many heroes to keep it as realistic for F2P as possible. Ofcourse, purple and blue heroes will be maxed out for most players overtime. Not sure where you get the number of 25% health. The only buff joiners provide is joiner bonus which offer a protection bonus. Ghost does 3%, Nikola 5% (like most other heroes) so I don’t think they are worth it that much. Nikola is for sure a decent infantry hero until Ash arrives, but after that I don’t see much use for him, but explorer as he has pretty decent explorer skills. Hope that clarifies it a little bit!
Look at rally benefits when someone join your rally using ghost, his skill gets added 25% health with the barrels (military skill) it gives 25% more health every turn. Only firs four get their hero captains skill added to the rally.

Hey there! On low level I would go for Hank - Tweak - Miko (resonated to strongest stat) 35-10-55, high level Hank-Tweak-Tina. Guess you could do Arthur for low level instead of Miko but will perform worse. Same formation!

Great vedio .. mostly agreed with gen 8 is the best so far and agree with other things too but not all .. have a question who is the best heroes to set trap rally .. mentioning not all my legendary hero are maxed on skills also iur state in gen 9 now ..not so far from gen 10 !
Another question who is the best for underground ash-maddie-mike which I always use or magnus-miho-luca as you said .. all are skill maxed for me btw !
Hey there! I can only share best possible formations. Really difficult to give other options without seeing all your hero skills. Low level trap: Hank/Tweak/Tina (Arthur will be little better, Miko outperforms them both) 35-10-55. High level Magnus/Tweak/Tina (or Miko) 30-10-60.
Depends if you’re going for explorer or toxic mist. Resonating heroes and/or highest stat heroes perform better on mist. For explorer I would go with the formations you just said :)

I have magnus and hank max skills the others aren't unfortunately but thanks for the formations .. we do mostly lvl 4 here

Depends on what exactly you’re attacking. For explore missions (young states: Maddie, Nikola, Mike) (older states: Miho, Ash/Magnus, Luca). Toxic mist and bosses resonating heroes should perform best if all level 4 or your strongest stat heroes!

If everyone is using the same formation of 60/15/25 or whatever doesn;t that defeat the purpose eventually?
Not everyone will send the optimal formations. Just the way it is. Imagine two of the same accounts, the one that gets closest to optimal formation will win
What is troll squad?
Extra future that was released during gen 7 to use frags of the three heroes to obtain extra permanent buffs and increase the march cap of your march when using these specific heroes. They never did it again after this gen!

If I may, as F2P, I rank top100.
Attack zombies on 1st and 2nd floor and starting from 3rd floor go for big infected. Also, do not finish your tickets nor oxygen and always get oxygen from store with biocaps.
Focus on, Visionary, Wise, Cautious, Steady and Taliant in this order.
Most of all, try to get your Wise to level 5 so you can have %10 discount on Underground store and do not spend any cell samples until last day.
Of course, don't forget your Migo Lab
Weird question, but would you even recommend this game for a F2P?
I would recommend the game in general, but you need to be aware of your limits as a F2P. A smart joiner is more important to me than a rally leader that doesn’t know anything about the game. As F2P you can still play the game, but it’s a different style than full p2p
@@JUMP I've played other games like this, I know that as a F2P I'll never be a rally leader for example. What I'm most curious about is time commitment. Is it like ROK where I'll need 5 farm accounts and 24/7 barbing? Or does SoS give me some breathing room?
You have to be active daily in my opionion to grow your account the proper way. Events give you the materials you need to upgrade, however not enough in my opinion!

Your English is perfect, man! The explanation tomorrow should make more sense, but don't go past level 4 whatever you do. In some generations Wacko is usefull but not always. Unfortunately, you won,t get any frags for free...

Thats up to you! Slight change now with the change of hero skills. I think it’s in this video where I call Eunjoo useless. That’s no longer the case with the updated hero skills. Good garrisoning hero if you don’t have joker on level 4

That worked great before his skills were fixed. (Hank had a broken period lol) think that is fixed now, tho! Also really depends on what joiners send I think. Incredibly difficult to manage 😂
