Hi Cleo, you can plug the mouse into the USB slot to use as stylus. This is extermely helpful when curating and editing designs through Embroidery Edit.
Is a used Ellisimo that was hardly used still has good as a baby lock flare or pathfinder? I’m really wondering if the software it runs on is out dated and isn’t going to interface with new technologies for embroidery machines currently being used?
we would recommend going with one of the newer models. The technology improves every year, and it's more likely you'll be able to make the necessary updates if it is more current.
The Ellisimo did not have a ‘return’ key to add a second line (like the Destiny). To add a second line of text, you would “Set” the first line and the “Add” the second line, choose “Set” this puts the 2nd line on top of the 1st line, then you can move the 2nd line below the 1st, and then adjust each line up/down/left/right as needed by selecting them individually. Repeat this process one line at a time to move them into position. Doing them all at once, could be more difficult when you are looking at sentences.
