I’ve listened to hundreds of hours of these old shows now. Dick Powell as Richard Diamond is fantastic but Bob Bailey as Yours Truly: Johnny Dollar is my favorite.
A thought.... I'm getting off my addiction on a day today, I think about the end of my nose. I try and think what it feels like. I think about what it looks like. You may find that you can't feel it or imagine what it really looks like, and that's just the point.
Hi everybody, I'm fighting the carbs and found Brian Tracy on utube. He has great ideas on building a better life. He coaches about money and how to rebuild yourself to get anything. I like him. He might help.🇺🇲🙏❤️
For those who enjoy researching the biographies of the supporting cast, those mentioned in the closing credits are Paul Duvald, Alan Reed Sr., Dick Crena, Virginia Gregg, Ben Wright, Forrest Lewis, Eric Snowden, Barney Phillips, James McCallion and Les Tremayne.
Wow !!! and now the third Golden Studebaker Hawk on a show. Studebaker must have slipped old Johnny a few bucks . or mabey a nice Golden Hawk. he would look right a home buzzing around in one . big v8 with a four speed n possie rear end 😎 they were Studebakers Corvette 👍🏼 varoom !!!
@@debbieking3575 happy someone got that lol. I blasted through all of these in no time a while back, can't wait until enough time has gone by to revisit them. Just like Gunsmoke and Dragnet, every one I choose, feels like I just heard it. Unfortunately I really only like the Bob Bailey versions.
@@theminer49erz My absolute favorite is Bob Bailey ! Johnny Dollar . . . especially written&🎉 directed & produced by Jack Johnstone . Musical supervision by Enrico Moreno! All " pieces" if this radio show fit so perfectly together! Bob Bailey captures the " film noir* spirit in radio : the attitude, ambiance, suspense, mood and energy of this fantastic era . . .the late 1940s and early to mud 1950s better than anyone else !!! I lived it !!! Thank you !
