The only immunity from being replaced by AI is to actually use human executive functions that AI cannot compete with yet. Most of IT industry in India is only adept at low level mundane things. And that's definitely getting replaced. In my opinion AI is going to accelerate the evolution of human engineers by making them operate at the best possible human excellence just to stay relevant.

i would say rather than saas in self serving manner productised service will be the future in the gen ai based software industry
