Not sure if its clear, but as I understand it, this is VoicePlay singing a cover of the song Valhalla Calling by Miracle of Sound. Alot of versions out there, I like the version with Miracle of Sound with Peyton Parrish the best.
If you like these guys you will love Peyton Parrish he is another Viking type absolutely amazing you should really really really really really really really really really really look them up
@@sandie9382 not just die fighting. the warriors that die fighting are split into two groups. only the warriors that had more bloodlust than honor would end up in Valhalla with Odin. the warriors that had more honor than bloodlust would end up in Fólkvangr with Freyja.
Voiceplay are the "theater kids" of acapella. Home Free are the "country boys" and PTX are the "popular kids". J-None used to be a member of Voiceplay until he joined the military. Now he makes guest appearances.
Voiceplay is definitely worth a deep dive. Something that's unique to this group is they are 100% acapella and they are 100% independent. Geoff the bass held that note in the beginning for about 13-15 seconds and just about every sound you here (the door opening and the creaking of boards) that was all Layne the beatboxer. Layne is a master of sound imitation as well as he as at beatboxing. We call Eli (eh-lee), the bald gentlemen, a rock god. Also I swear Geoff's bass is so low that his voice triggers the Richter's scale and his subharmonics registers as a minor earthquakes.
So Valhalla Calling has 3 or four versions including a heavy metal, an a rock version. I would definitely suggest listening to each and comparing them as they all feel musically distinct.
You have the thumbnail for the trio version with Payton Parrish I'm your thumbnail and you should 100% check that one out. Takes it to a whole different realm. Make you wanna grab an axe and jump on a boat ngl.
I definitely recommend that you watch Valhalla Calling covered by The Bass Gang featuring Big Brev. Five insanely talented basses with insane ranges. TBG does all their recording via internet as two live (far apart) in the US, one in Czechia (Czech Republic),and one in Egypt. Incredible arrangement.
I think you would enjoy digital duets between daughters and their late fathers. In both these cases, the daughters have passed as well. Lisa Marie Presley sang 'In the Ghetto' with Elvis and Natalie Cole sang 'Unforgettable' with her late dad Nat King Cole.
Voiceplay, Pentatonic, and Home Free are all a capella groups whose instrumentation is provided by a beatboxer. Some of the members have individual side projects, but they are all just a capella vocal groups.. 🙏🤙✌️
It’s all acapella. Just subscribed to your channel in the last week and thoroughly enjoying it. The great thing about you, your channel, and some other reactors is that you are open to all genres of music. I’m in my 50’s and have grown up and lived with country, rock, rap, metal, and jazz. Watching channels like yours has helped me discover artists that have regularly found their way into my play list.
Miracle of Sound was inspired by Assassin's Creed: Valhalla & it's main character Eivor, to write Valhalla Calling. It's kind of considered an "unofficial" theme song. It's been covered by MANY, but my favorite version is Peyton Parrish & Miracle of Sound. It braces you for a battle, let me tell you, lol. It kept me going in the early days after my mom had her stroke in 2023 & I somehow became the one everyone in the family was calling for updates and so many questions for things I had no answer to, etc. I felt like I was in a battle, in the very thick of it, and I had to "pull it together for clan & kin".
Please put VoicePlay in your title -- they are the performing artist, covering Miracle of Sound's song. All sounds are provided by the performers; if they ever use instruments they will show them. Layne is the beatboxer and does all the percussion by mouth. Thanks for reacting
VoicePlay are the theater kids of the Acapella Triumvirate. They do a lot of work with costumes and backgrounds, but they also do straight acapella covers without any of that. Pentatonix are the professionals, and Home Free are the country guys, though they sing all genres. Keep on keepin' on, man!
90s rap country mashup austin williams might be something that can interest you, maybe lol :) (also i love the Og video game MV , the Trio remix, and acapella ones)
You have the wrong artist and thumbnail for this video. This is VoicePlay's cover of the song, but you have the original artist's (Miracle of Sound) image and name in the title instead.
Hey Krizz, long time fan of your art, and subscriber to your channel. I don't comment much, but I wanted to request a song for you to check out. Nightwish - Ghost love score live at Wacken.
This version is no good! 😬 Valhalla Calling is about a viking warriors inner soul and they made it into pop and rap... You should listen to the version with Gavin Dunne (Miracle of Sound) and Peyton Parish and you will be ready to fight and go to Valhalla... 🤩

They are one of my favorite Acapella groups! Definitely worth a deep dive
Yes, that is Geoff Castellucci. This is him with the acappella group VoicePlay he helped form in 1997 (yes, they have been around that long).
If you like these guys you will love Peyton Parrish he is another Viking type absolutely amazing you should really really really really really really really really really really look them up
Prefer his version, really the duet between him and Miracle of Sound. The Guitars and the ending of that one
Valhalla is the place of the Viking Gods and Warriors. The place they go after death.
not all of us are bound for Odin's hall, i am bound for Helheim myself
You had to die fighting to go to Valhalla
Yes and to some of us it is sacred

This group is Voice Play. Definitely worth a deep dive. Check out their versions of Seven Nation Army and Creep. Incredible!

My favorite version is the one by Peyton Parrish & Miracle of Sound
Look up Miracle of Sound and listen to the original!! This was a cover, but it was really cool!
You have the thumbnail for the trio version with Payton Parrish I'm your thumbnail and you should 100% check that one out. Takes it to a whole different realm. Make you wanna grab an axe and jump on a boat ngl.

the Norse had their own for of battle poetry called Flyghting, it was full of boasts and insults against their opponent
Love them!!
That's all done with voice , beatbox , acapella . Voiceplay is the group.
I don't think have said before but with Knox in intro, don't know if have done a track with before but if haven't should, that'd be tight

This version is great, but Bass Gang has a guy that goes so deep he hits the lowest note you can sing
