I don’t understand why this game didn’t blow up in the gaming scene… I’ve played very consistently for 2+ years. I still get the gamer excitement when I launch it. It took me a while to grasp footwork/movement/stamina/counters, but after that I’ve been cooking in duels and TO. My theory as to why this game didn’t blow up: it takes too long for the average player to get good enough to enjoy it. If you don’t have the patience to learn and get better, you’re very likely to ditch this after a few weeks. If you compare this game to all other genres, it’s way harder to play competitively. Games like COD which release new games year, while they are "different", they’re inherently the same… point and shoot, 360 no scope… it takes no skill for anyone to pick up a controller and play mix mode or the campaign. It’s easy and enjoyable. I haven’t played cod since BO3 I think, but I guarantee I can figure it out again in 10 min. Chiv 2 has no campaign, and isn’t a familiar style of game. It’s fairly complex. I’ve gotten many people to play this, but none of them last. It’s always the same "How come they can block every attack, but I can’t block anything?!?! This game is g*y"
chivalry is genuinely the most fun ive had in a game in AGES
@@JacksonOrr-e3s I’m loving it! I’ll just need a bit more practice 😅
There definitely needs to something to bridge console and pc gameplay, the twists and turns are not as fluid
@@Indacut4545 turning between 2 attackers is definitely something I struggled heavily to keep up with
This is one of the most fun games I’ve ever played, no joke…
@@unclecleetus_6894 it’s a very unique experience!

@@PacNorWes you made some great points! It seems that unfortunately attention spans are dying and they are taking the gaming industry down with it.
