My family was lucky enough to have my in laws “retire” to the Branson area and work part time at SDC meaning we had free tickets for whenever we wanted. Much of the staff are older retirees. You picked the best time to visit in mho! Park is so beautiful in fall/winter months. We would often just go to see Marvel Cave, enjoy the scenery of the park and rides attractions with little wait times.
I prefer Theme parks to Amusement parks and this is def a Theme park. Lots of great details and theming at this park. I have never been to Silver Dollar City so youtube is my passport to this one.
Silver Dollar City is the jewel of the Ozarks. Unfortunately Marvel Cave is closed due to Covid which is what Silver Dollar City was built on. Come back and visit again when the Cave reopens.
As a home parker, next time you come down you have to try the Rivertown Smokehouse by Mystic River Falls. Some of the best BBQ food you'll ever find. Glad you loved the park though!

The Grand Exposition Coaster is a Zamperla Steel Kiddie Coaster. Since you liked this one, you should like others of the exact same manufacturer and model that you might find at other parks. Electro Spin is a Zamperla Disk'O. Tip: Racing Regatta is another you would love that won't make you dizzy. DO NOT insult Firefall by calling it a "drop tower"!!! It is an S&S Shot Tower, also called a Bouncy Tower and you WILL address it as such!!! BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SHOT TOWERS AND DROP TOWERS!!! LEARN THE DIFFERENCE! HFE would NEVER lower their standards just to get a Drop Tower. Also, it may be a smaller version of a normal Shot Tower, but the real mini version is for kids and is called Up The Ladder. It is also in Fireman's Landing and it is a Zamperla Shooting Star, I believe. You need to STOP insulting our rides by calling them something that they are not!!! How would you like it if I were to insult you?!?! That's not just any hill. As you can CLEARLY see on the map, that is Hugo's Hill Street. Some call it Heart Attack Hill and for good reason. You went off to see the craftsman area for Heartland Home Furnishings. It is belt driven. Sullivan's Mill is also belt driven and Sullivan's Mill is 100% powered by the water wheel, water, and gravity that makes it turn. I'm guessing you missed buying something in Sullivan's Mill. That's just the Homestead Stage. It's where the Homestead Pickers play when they're not inside or outside the Homestead. It's nothing. Keep moving. All you will hear is boring crap music, just like most areas of this park.
I did the cave tour my first time I went. Tbh it wasn’t my forte. I didn’t really enjoy it. Don’t get me wrong, it was really pretty, but just kinda boring. I would recommend it to someone who wants to do something long and educational.
Apparently Worldmark has a timeshare there, maybe a trip to Branson Missouri may be in the future, after my last trip to the midwest I swore off going to either Kansas City or Missouri, as it just seemed so flipping boring (but miles worth of fireworks stands though!)
That is just crazy to hear. I have felt bad for the good people in lockdown states. All of our parks in FL fully opened last year at this time and we've already removed the temperature check stations at Universal, Sea World, and WDW will be May 16th. They've done temperature screenings for a year now so glad to see them gone. CA has alot of catching up to do.

Do you have any "Today's Obsession" videos from Branson as well? Because besides this park, White Water Branson and Big Cedar Lodge (which is where I plan on staying), I don't know what else there is to do in the city so any videos would be helpful.

Thursday's are busy because a local grocery store sells discount tickets for Thursday .

You should try going around the 4th of July the fireworks show and plays are amazing

Too bad you didn't go by Echo Hollow Amphitheater, it's totally unexpected, a 5000 seat outdoor theater with great live local and national acts.
Do you have any "Today's Obsession" videos from Branson as well? Because besides this park, White Water Branson and Big Cedar Lodge (which is where I plan on staying), I don't know what else there is to do in the city so any videos would be helpful.

Yes we did and I really liked that ride, a lot of fun. And we really didn't see too many shows to be honest.
When are you coming to Carowinds?
Hopefully soon. Id love to come out and have a good time on those coasters.
