@@noelaurora i see. It reminds me of the florida thunderstorms. I use to go to florida every summer with my family. But the truth is that in general I don’t like thunderstorms. I was in a house that was hit by lightning many years ago in Florida. The airconditioning exploded and the house was set on fire. The difference with florida is that Florida thunderstorms mostly only happen in summer from May untill around October, then the dry season sets in. And Florida thunderstorms are mostly caused by the interaction of the east and west coast sea breeze boundries and a very unstable airmass. I am not usre what the cuases of thunderstorms are in KL if it is a similar process but I am somewhat familiar with the inter-tropical convergence zone. I am also blind so you can imagine how scary those type of thunderstorms are for me. I can’t see the lightning, I can only hear the noise of the thunderstorms. Are building where you live protected from lightning such as your house or apartment? Also was it raining in the video? Or was this just at the very start of the thunderstorm?

Kuala Lumpur has an equatorial climate with an average of 240 thunderstorm days per year.
Reason the thunder is loud because of how warm it is
