@@Jointanatomy Oh, you thought it was praise of Stoltenberg? In Norway, he is perceived as a clown who has been promoted as the Labor Party's chosen one only because his father was a well-known Norwegian politician. He himself is a doofus and his English pronunciation is laughable. If you are said to have attended Stoltenberg's "English school", it means that you are a total loser when it comes to oral English.
considering Norway has Ditched The NH90 along with The Swedes and they were part of The Nordic Helicopter Program tells you they did something right by choosing The AW-101 instead once they are fully operational they will do what they were bought for SAVE LIVES they are far superior than The NH90 also Norway used The Danish version of The AW-101 as an example as they are buying 16 instead of 12 and also there are options for 6 to 8 more
They’re trying to save lives. As long as the helo works. Which it doesn’t. That’s why the sea king is still in use. And that fool in charge of the project should be fired.
The reason the sea king is still in service is because they’re being gradually phased out and that only started in 2020 the AW-101s here in Canada have racked up a ton of hours about 7000 per airframe with very few incidents
why Canada is upgrading theirs to a similar standard to Norways AW-101's and purchasing More Canada has only lost 1 or 2 to accidents in all that time and they did what they were bought for save lives as with any new system it needs to be phased in so you can iron out any bugs also Norway Demanded 99% availability as part of the contract also one was damaged in an accident after delivery but it was repaired by Leonardo at Yeovilton also Norway had an excellent relationship with The Former Westland at Yeovilton look how long they operated Their Sea Kings why they chose this Helicopter no doubt they had seen the problems with Their NH90's and were not taking any chances so they chose This Helicopter instead they had issues but once sorted they will get down to doing their job saving lives
Many thanks for the video and for the great job of saving lives
Hope you guys always have a safe flight 🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽

Reigns supreme......when she's not, like a typical AW101, broken and awaiting spares.

Not really.
